This release is all about faster discovery and clearer insights. You’ll experience a smoother search workflow and richer Foundations Explorer data, so you can discover, qualify, and act on the right funding opportunities with greater confidence.

What's New and Improved on GrantExec

We’re always working to make your grant-seeking workflow smoother, faster, and more efficient. Here’s what’s new in your GrantExec platform this week:

New: Live Search across grants and foundations

Search now updates instantly as you type—no extra “Apply” step required. Filters apply immediately, with clearer loading behavior as results refresh. The result: you can move from exploring to shortlisting significantly faster.

Search and filters now remember your previous settings, so when you return to a page you can pick up right where you left off. Use Reset All at any time to clear your inputs and start fresh.

New: Foundations Explorer “Awards” search mode

Foundations Explorer now includes a dedicated Awards mode, giving you direct access to millions of previously awarded grants. You can search by funder, recipient, city, or purpose, and filter by year, amount range, and state to zero in on the most relevant funding examples.

This award-level view makes it easy to run reverse recipient lookups, compare giving patterns year over year, and understand how funders actually deploy capital in practice.

Improved: Foundations Explorer recipient and grant award history visibility

We’ve strengthened the Funder details experience so prior grants and recipients are easier to access and more complete. You’ll see improved table behavior, enhanced search, and better pagination—making it easier to confidently explore awarded grant history without hitting dead ends.

Improved: Improved analyses and guidance

Funder analysis now draws from a deeper well of data across funder data, recipients, and awarded grants. You’ll receive clearer guidance on issue-area focus, geographic alignment, historical funding patterns, and recommended next steps—including who to contact and how to follow up. The Funder detail view also now includes a direct link to the funder’s website for faster outreach.

Improved: Foundation Explorer data accuracy and completeness

Behind the scenes, we made several improvements that translate into better on-platform accuracy, especially for foundation filings and grant history. You’ll experience more complete filings coverage, clearer handling of amended versus original returns, and more accurate award amounts (including non-cash and in-kind grants), so you can trust the data when deciding whether a funder is truly a fit.

Bug Fixes

• Improved “Reset filters” filter to be more obvious and truly reset all filters and search to the default.

• Fixed a bug where flagged grants wouldn’t persist while filtering to view flagged grants.
