The OneOhio Recovery Foundation administers regional grants to support substance misuse prevention, treatment, recovery, and related abatement efforts across Ohio. Funding priorities include treatment and healthcare services, intervention and crisis support, criminal legal system needs, recovery supports, prevention strategies, harm reduction, services for impacted children and families, public safety and first responder collaboration, workforce development, and infrastructure such as facility renovation, technology upgrades, and vehicles. Awards in this cycle will total no more than 51,194,220.72 dollars and may support projects of 12, 24, or up to 36 months. Eligible applicants include tax exempt organizations, private for profit organizations providing charitable purpose services, and state or local government entities. The Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA) is offering Undergraduate Student Artist Grants through its Artists 360 program, made possible by the Walton Family Foundation. L. 117-103), $75 million in funding is available with $56,250,000 allocated for funding at or near active-duty military installations and $18,750,000 allocated for funding at or near guard or reserve installations, of which $5 million shall be for funding to communities for which a nearby military installation has transitioned to a new type or model of aircraft after January 1, 2019. The recipient has five (5) years from the date of award to expend these funds. The Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation must obligate these funds through a counter-signed grant agreement no later than TBD.

ThreeStar promotes economic and community prosperity through collaboration to positively impact every Tennessean. ThreeStar includes a certification process and grant program. Grants are available to support completion of identified ThreeStar SMART goals submitted through the certification process. ThreeStar is a strategic community development program developed to assist communities in preparing for a better future. The ThreeStar program now incorporates asset-based planning initiatives and a two-year timeline to accomplish goals. The asset-based planning component helps communities develop goals to maximize their local assets to drive economic development. Starting in 2019, biennial grants will be available to counties to align with one of the community’s identified goals.

This program provides financial support and product donations to nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and youth activities in communities where Shaw Industries associates live and work, focusing on education, workforce development, and local partnerships.

The Coastal Conservancy funds a wide variety of projects along the California coast, San Francisco Bay, and in coastal watersheds to increase availability of beaches, parks and trails for the public, protect and restore natural lands and wildlife habitat, preserve working lands, and increase community resilience to the impacts of climate change. The Conservancy will fund most stages of a project including: pre-project feasibility studies, property acquisition, project planning including community involvement, design, environmental review, permitting, construction, and project-related monitoring. We do not fund operation and maintenance activities. Most Conservancy grants are awarded through this rolling pre-application solicitation. This includes Climate Ready, Wildfire Resilience, and all regional grant programs.  Explore the Coast, Coastal Stories, and some other grant programs are NOT awarded through this rolling process.

The New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) is making up to $2 million in State Apprenticeship Expansion Formula (SAEF) funding available under the Direct Entry Pre-Apprenticeship Programs (DEPA) Request for Applications (RFA). The purpose of the RFA is to: 1. Provide funding for DEPA programs to support approximately 300 participants; and2. Support entry into NYS Registered Apprenticeship (RA) programs for underrepresented populations including women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and veterans.NYSDOL is particularly interested in supporting DEPA programs that provide participants with training and exposure to various trades and offer opportunities for entry into RA training programs. Targeted industries include, but are not limited to, Building and Construction, Manufacturing, and Information Technology (IT).Although grantmaking activities will transition from the Grants Gateway to the Statewide Financial System (SFS) on January 16, 2024, applications for this funding opportunity will continue to be accepted through Grants Gateway until the submission deadline date of March 29, 2024.Note: With the transition of grantmaking activities from the Grants Gateway to SFS, prequalification will be unavailable from December 15, 2023 through January 16, 2024.
