This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Technology-enabled Collaborative Learning Program (TCLP). The purpose of this program is to improve retention of health care providers and increase access to health care services, such as those to address chronic diseases and conditions (including Alzheimers disease), infectious diseases, mental health and substance use disorders, prenatal and maternal health, pediatric care, pain management, palliative care, and other specialty care in rural areas, frontier areas, health professional shortage areas, or medically underserved areas and for medically underserved populations or Native Americans. Recipients will evaluate, develop, and, as appropriate, expand the use of technology-enabled collaborative learning and capacity building models. In this NOFO, the term "technology-enabled collaborative learning and capacity building model" means a distance health education model that connects health care professionals, and particularly specialists, with multiple other health care professionals through simultaneous interactive videoconferencing for the purpose of facilitating case-based learning, disseminating best practices, and evaluating outcomes. This cooperative agreement aligns with HRSAs goals of promoting a health care workforce to address current and emerging needs, improving access to quality health services, achieving health equity, and enhancing population health. The development and acquisition of instructional programming by the TCLP will increase access to quality care using telehealth and innovative technology solutions. The TCLP will also provide training for health care providers and other professionals that provide or assist in the provision of services, including training on best practices for data collection and evaluation activities to study the impact on patient outcomes and health care providers.

Through Illinois General Review Funds, funds will be appropriated for expenses related to Suicide Prevention, Education, and Treatment Program pursuant to Public Act 101-0331. The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) will provide funding to expand the implementation of strategies in the Illinois Suicide Prevention Strategic Plan. At the recommendation of the Illinois Suicide Prevention Alliance (ISPA), the IDPH Violence and Injury Prevention Section will provide funding to one entity for the purpose to organize and implement workforce development opportunities through implementing the ECHO approach, a Community of Practice (CoP), and offering evidence-based trainings to build workforce development for professionals.

The Governor and the General Assembly direct the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) to administer grants for specific miscellaneous purposes to bolster the state’s economy, promote a clean environment, and improve the overall quality of life throughout the state of Illinois. This grant program is available to any entity receiving funding via lump sum appropriation. Eligible costs for this program are bondable costs associated with the acquisition of land and/or buildings. This includes acquisition costs of all improved or unimproved real property including appraisal fees; title opinions; surveying fees; real estate fees; title transfer taxes; condemnation; and related legal expenses. The "Facilitating Preclinical and Early Phase Human Studies for New Therapeutics" grant aims to fund research that advances new treatments from preclinical stages to first-in-human trials for aging-related conditions, excluding neurodegenerative and Alzheimer's diseases, with a focus on improving injury repair in older adults and defining clear milestones for progress monitoring.

This funding opportunity provides up to $1 million to research centers focused on improving the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of intellectual and developmental disabilities through collaborative and innovative research.

The Alliance for Pediatric Device Innovation (APDI) is offering grants up to $50,000 for pediatric medical devices aimed at improving the monitoring, diagnosis, or treatment of youth substance use disorders and addiction. Up to $150,000 in total grant funds are available for distribution. Eligible applicants include inventors from established businesses, startups, and academic researchers with commercializable device concepts that address unmet pediatric needs. The goal is to support the development of devices that can be commercialized, with an emphasis on bridging the gap between prototyping and FDA approval, marketing, and sales. The "Individually Measured Phenotypes to Advance Computational Translation in Mental Health (IMPACT-MH)" grant aims to support research that develops new behavioral measures and data infrastructure to improve the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of mental disorders.

This grant provides funding to support early-career researchers from diverse backgrounds as they transition from postdoctoral positions to independent faculty roles in the field of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias research.

The Appalachian Region Healthcare Support Program provides technical assistance (TA) to help rural healthcare organizations, including critical access hospitals (CAHs), small rural hospitals, rural health clinics, tribal healthcare facilities, and other healthcare organizations located in the rural counties served by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) with planning and implementing health care service improvements. The goal of this program is to strengthen healthcare delivery in rural areas of the Appalachian Region by improving financial and operational performance as well as the quality of care in rural healthcare organizations. The TA provider funded under this cooperative agreement will work with individual healthcare organizations to meet the following program objectives: Provide objective analysis and assessment of healthcare organizations financial status, market share, quality indicators, locally available human services, and gaps in services so that organizations can make actionable change; Identify clinical areas where expansion of services within a rural healthcare organization would meet local need, keep health care services available locally, and build capacity to improve financial and operational performance as well as quality of care. This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Delta Region Maternal Care Coordination Program (Delta MCC). The purpose of this program is to improve and increase access to care for pregnant women and new mothers during and after pregnancy. To support this purpose, the objectives for the Delta MCC are to: 1. Use care coordination strategies to enhance and expand access to perinatal services in the Delta Region through a strong, diverse network of entities that represent the spectrum of care during and after pregnancy; 2. Utilize evidence-based, promising practices and/or value-based care model(s) in the planning and delivery of perinatal services; 3. Identify barriers to providing maternal health care in the region and strategies for addressing such barriers; and 4. Develop and implement deliberate and sustainable strategies of care coordination into policies, procedures, staffing, services, and communication systems (including but not limited to billing for appropriate services and partnering private and public payers). Applicants are encouraged to consider innovative strategies to meet the needs of and support pregnant women and new mothers. The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The overarching goal of this NHGRI R25 program is to support educational activities that encourage undergraduates from diverse backgrounds, including those from groups underrepresented in the biomedical workforce, to pursue further training and careers in the scientific, medical, ethical, social and/or legal areas of genomics research. The "E-Learning Collaborative for Integrated Violence Prevention" grant aims to fund the development and maintenance of an online learning community and platform, which will provide resources, technical assistance, and support to violence prevention practitioners, helping them to effectively implement and evaluate strategies to prevent various types of violence, while also promoting health equity.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), the System Agency, is accepting Applications for the targeted Houston Preventative and Primary Health (HPPH) Services provided in “At-Risk” or “Distressed” communities. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to deliver services that expand access to no-or low-cost preventative and primary medical, dental, diagnostic, specialty, and children’s health services to improve the health of low-income adults and children in the targeted Houston area.

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is accepting applications for a cooperative agreement to measure the use of health information technology (IT) among office-based physicians. The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to measure U.S. office-based physicians' use of interoperable health IT, their experience using health IT, and the impact of health IT on the care they deliver. The cooperative agreement is intended to produce detailed data on interoperability and use of health IT by office-based physicians. These data will result in insights on the implementation and effects of federal health IT policies, allow for identification of disparities in the physicians adopting and using interoperable health IT in terms of the populations they serve or unintended consequences such as increased burden on clinicians resulting from the implementation of health IT, and will inform ONC's ongoing efforts to achieve better health enabled by data through coordination and regulation. The cooperative agreement recipient is encouraged to make the key findings of the cooperative agreement publicly available via their website; peer-reviewed publications in biomedical journals; presentations at conferences; webinars, or blog posts.

The Illinois Department of Public Health recognizes the need to improve immunization efforts across the state, and to this end, has established the Immunize Illinois Coalition Grant. The grant will provide initial funding to establish a single statewide coalition. The new coalition will bring together various immunization stakeholders with the goal with the primary goal of creating a collaborative environment where resources, expertise, and strategies can be pooled to address the complex challenges hindering optimal immunization coverage.
