The Community Investment Program (CIP) was created by the Montana Community Foundation in partnership with Grid United to support communities in Rosebud, Custer, and Fallon County. These areas are affected by Grid United’s North Plains Connector, a significant transmission line project. CIP aims to fund innovative projects that enhance the quality of life and strengthen community ties in Eastern Montana. The program is dedicated to supporting broad-impact initiatives that address community issues, leverage other support, encourage community involvement, offer creative problem-solving, respond to changing needs, and promote economic and community development.

The Department of Toxic Substances Control's (DTSC) Site Mitigation and Restoration Program Office of Brownfield manages the Equitable Community Revitalization Grant, which provides approximately $185 million in grants through a competitive process for investigations and cleanup of brownfields, in disadvantaged, vulnerable communities, to protect public health and provide opportunities for community revitalization.

The UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour Award is currently accepting nominations for its 2024 round. The award recognizes individuals and institutions that have made outstanding contributions to urban development, including improving the quality of urban life and providing adequate, affordable, and accessible housing. Nominations must come from third parties before the deadline of May 17, 2024. The winners, selected by the Executive Director of UN-Habitat following recommendations by a panel of experts, will receive the UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour Award at the global celebration of World Habitat Day in Querétaro City, Mexico, on October 7, 2024. The award considers best practices and initiatives aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 11 on sustainable cities and communities. Wraparound workforce development services provide supports for individuals participating in workforce programs and may include but are not limited to childcare, transportation, mental health services, housing support, job-related materials and supplies, books, tuition, and other services designed to help individuals attain employment and progress along career pathways. Creating and expanding education and training programs, including developing culturally and linguistically specific career pathways for obtaining certificates, credentials, or degrees recognized by targeted industry sectors. Expanding the capacity of organizations to provide workforce development services, including: Hiring staff or contracting for services; Developing strategies around workforce programs including program development Purchasing equipment, technology, or other supplies; Paying for administrative costs; and Any other activities necessary to increase the organization’s capacity to provide workforce programs that advance economic mobility, educational attainment, and career advancement in the healthcare sector. Eligibility Criteria In order to receive an award under this RFA, an Applicant must: Be a workforce service provider or a community-based organization that administers workforce programs in the manufacturing sector; ORS 660.400(1)(c) defines workforce service providers as including: nonprofit and public workforce education, training, and career services providers; and governmental entities that provide workforce development services. Defines community-based organizations to include: nonprofit organizations that are representative of a particular community or specific segments of a community and are located within or in close proximity to the community they serve; and culturally-specific organizations. The program prioritizes Projects that benefit vulnerable and LMI populations as well as those located inside the Most Impacted and Distressed area (MID) or documented to impact the MID. Per the grant requirements program funds must benefit the MID and 50 percent of the program funds are required to benefit LMI persons. Additionally, for CDBG-MIT funds to be used as the non-federal cost share local match, the Project must be a HUD eligible activity and must meet a HUD national objective, per CDBG-MIT rules and regulations. Similarly, the Project must fully comply with all applicable federal rules and regulations, to include Davis Bacon and related acts, Section 3, Section 504, procurement, environmental review, and all other CDBG-MIT, cross-cutting, state and local applicable statutes, rules, and regulations. Jurisdictions within the MID that do not meet the allocation requirements are still eligible to submit Projects towards a 20 percent set aside. Applicants will then be required to submit Project applications which will be reviewed against eligibility thresholds to ensure they meet program requirements. The primary objective of the Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) program is the development of viable Indian and Alaska Native communities, including the creation of decent housing, suitable living environments, and economic opportunities primarily for persons of low-and moderate-incomes. See the ICDBG regulations at 24 CFR 1003.2, the full text of which is available at 24 CFR part 1003.a. Single Purpose Grants. Projects funded by the ICDBG program must principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons (24 CFR 1003.208). These are competitive grants and are the subject of this NOFO.b. Imminent Threat Grants. Projects funded with Imminent Threat grant funds are to address issues that have an immediate negative impact on public health or safety of tribal residents.You do not have to apply for an Imminent Threat grant by the deadline established in this NOFO. These funds are awarded on a first-come first-serve basis until the amount set aside for this purpose is expended. The "Directed Announcement for UTE (ROSS) - 2020" grant is a funding opportunity aimed at helping public housing residents achieve economic independence through supportive services, education, and employment opportunities, with a total funding of $222,750,000 available for eligible nonprofit organizations, resident associations, and tribally designated housing entities.

The Eviction Protection Grant Program (EPGP) through this NOFO will fund nonprofit organizations and government entities to provide no cost legal assistance to low-income tenants at risk or subject to eviction. The purpose of FVPSA funds is to provide shelter, temporary housing, supportive services, information, and assistance to adult and youth victims of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence, as well as family and household members of such victims, and persons affected by the victimization. The FVPSA program has received supplemental funding through the American Rescue Plan (ARP). The purpose of these funds is to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19. Purpose Areas  The purpose of these supplemental funds is to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19. Pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 10407(a)(2)(iii), ICJI will give special emphasis to the support of community-based projects of demonstrated effectiveness that are carried out by nonprofit private organizations whose primary purpose is the operation of shelters for victims of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence, and their dependents, or those organizations who provide counseling, advocacy, and self-help services to victims of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence, and their dependents. The activities that will be supported by these funds within these purpose areas include: Prevent Activities under this purpose area will focus on the continued effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. The activities that will be supported by this funding include: Emergency Housing: Alternative emergency housing including hotels, motels, and safe houses and operating costs of emergency shelters. Mobile Advocacy: Laptops, software, virtual meeting platforms, and lease of vehicles for mobile advocacy. Prevention: Outreach to underserved populations to increase access to domestic violence services and reduce the exposure and risk of COVID-19. Supplies: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies, air purifiers, thermometers, and rapid COVID-19 tests. Prepare Activities under this purpose area will focus on preparing for any future surge or variant of COVID-19. The activities that will be supported by this funding include: Organizational Planning: Assessment of family violence agencies to prevent any future reoccurrence of COVID-19 within the shelter-based programs. Respond Activities under this purpose area will focus on victims and their children who have been affected by COVID-19 who could benefit from services and assistance to recover from this health crisis. The activities that will be supported by this funding include: Counseling: Counseling to victims including continued telehealth options. Advocacy: Advocacy, case management, information, and referral services including assistance in accessing assistance programs, legal advocacy, medical advocacy, and assistance locating affordable housing. Youth Services: Services to provide for the emotional well-being for children. Legal Assistance: Civil legal assistance related to protective orders and evictions. Rental Assistance: Short-term rental, deposit, and utility assistance. Economic Empowerment: Costs associated with victims obtaining economic empowerment including transportation, childcare, respite care, job training and employment services, financial literacy services and education, and financial planning. Eligibility Criteria  Eligible entities include local public agencies or nonprofit private organizations that assist victims of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence, and their dependents, and have a documented history of effective work concerning family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence. The Coastal Conservancy funds a wide variety of projects along the California coast, San Francisco Bay, and in coastal watersheds to increase availability of beaches, parks and trails for the public, protect and restore natural lands and wildlife habitat, preserve working lands, and increase community resilience to the impacts of climate change. The Conservancy will fund most stages of a project including: pre-project feasibility studies, property acquisition, project planning including community involvement, design, environmental review, permitting, construction, and project-related monitoring. We do not fund operation and maintenance activities. Most Conservancy grants are awarded through this rolling pre-application solicitation. This includes Climate Ready, Wildfire Resilience, and all regional grant programs.  Explore the Coast, Coastal Stories, and some other grant programs are NOT awarded through this rolling process.

Executive Summary: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem (GPD) National Program Office anticipates awarding renewal grants to community-based organizations to provide case management services to improve Veteran housing retention. Awards are expected to be for 3 years starting on or around October 1, 2025. The target audience for this funding is current GPD case management grantees. VA targets these organizations to provide case management services to improve housing retention by Veterans who are at risk of becoming homeless or who were previously homeless and are transitioning to permanent housing from programs such as the GPD program or the VA Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contracted Residential Services (CRS) program. Renewal grants will defray the operational costs of facilitating housing stability for vulnerable Veterans. Only the 90 current GPD case management grantees are eligible to apply. No other applicants are eligible to apply. For program information and requirements, see 38 C.F.R. part 61.Funding Details: Approximately $15 million per year for 3 years is available for renewal grants under the NOFO. Renewal grants are expected to be approximately $75,000 to $300,000 per year depending on factors such as the number of case managers. VA anticipates awarding approximately 90 case management renewal grants for approximately 120 full-time equivalent (FTE) case manager positions. Awards may not exceed $150,000 in total costs per FTE case manager position per year. Applicants for renewal funding may request the number of case managers needed for the proposed project. Applicants must request at least 0.5 FTE positions (at least 20 hours on average per week) per application. Applicants must not request more than the approved number of FTE in the current grant (start date October 1, 2023). Applicants must fully demonstrate the need for the request in the application.Key Dates: Applications for grants must be received by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, February 26, 2025.
