Eligible courthouses must be at least 50 years old, have served or currently serve as a county courthouse, and have an approved master plan.

The Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program (THCPP) offers Emergency Grants to address urgent courthouse needs. The grants assist counties facing catastrophic events, unforeseen conditions threatening courthouse integrity, or damage due to deferred maintenance. The grant aims to restore courthouses to their historic period while also meeting current standards for safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency. Eligible counties can use these documents to apply for future restoration funding, gaining up to 10 additional points for being "shovel ready."Counties with approved plans are encouraged to apply for restoration funding in subsequent cycles, maximizing preservation efforts.

The overall intent of this initiative is to support projects and initiatives that use exchange and other forms of interchange and collaboration to strengthen programs that help communities, civil society, and government institutions counter false narratives related to cultural heritage. The Essex Community Fund (ECF) at Adirondack Foundation invites local nonprofits, schools, churches, and municipalities to apply for grant funding. The Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Tucson, and Pima County will accept proposals for funding from arts and culture organizations in Tucson and Southern Arizona. The Arts Foundation will steward local, regional and federal funds to complement a 3-year initiative to equitably rebuild arts economies in the borderlands and strengthen civic participation. Operating Support Grants will invest in Southern Arizona’s arts economy to 1) Restore/create jobs and 2) Incentivize arts & civic engagement. The grant program is open to 501(c)3 Arts Organizations located within the Arts Foundation’s service area, which includes counties and Tribal Nations that reside between the southern edges of the Gila River to the US-Mexico international border. *Fiscally sponsored organizations residing within Pima County may apply. Operating Support Grants intend to make awards that will impact a broad constituency. This includes a wide geographic range and organizations that support underserved populations such as those whose opportunities to experience the arts are limited by geography, ethnicity, economics, or disability. Eligible applicants include New Mexico’s Pueblo Indian organizations and tribal governments, Isleta del Sur Pueblo, community leaders, artists, and individuals within Pueblo communities, as well as non-Pueblo organizations with evidence of community support.
