The Public Impact Projects at Smaller Organizations program supports small and mid-sized museums and cultural organizations in the creation of public humanities programming and strengthens their capacity to develop such programming. NEH’s Public Impact Projects encourage you to think critically about the humanities programming your organization currently offers and to assess your organization’s relationship to your community and surrounding neighborhoods. You will develop or implement strategies to strengthen the interpretive goals of your organization and ensure your public programing meets audience needs. Funded projects may focus on evaluating current interpretive programing, collections, and other available resources to identify new story opportunities or interpretive methods. Additionally, you may choose to propose the implementation of new programs you have already developed. Another option is to request support for professional development opportunities that will assist your staff and volunteers in expanding their skills as interpreters of humanities grounded material. You may also combine one or more of these approaches to create a strategy that meets the needs of your organization and audience.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Office of Digital Humanities is accepting applications for the Dangers Opportunities of Technology: Perspectives from the Humanities program. The Fellowship Programs at Independent Research Institutions (FPIRI) program supports institutions that provide fellowships for advanced humanities research in the U.S. and abroad, foster communities of intellectual exchange among participating scholars, and provide access to resources that might otherwise not be available to the participating scholars. Fellowship programs may be administered by independent centers for advanced study, libraries, and museums in the U.S.; American overseas research centers; and American organizations that have expertise in promoting humanities research in foreign countries. Individual scholars apply directly to the institutions for fellowships. In evaluating applications, consideration is given to the library holdings, archives, special collections, and other resources—either on site or nearby—that institutions make available to fellows. FPIRI fellowship tenure must be continuous and last from four to twelve months. Residential fellows are expected to be in residence during their entire tenure period and to work on their projects on a full-time basis. Likewise, nonresidential NEH-funded fellows are expected to work on their projects on a full-time basis. If a fellow is obliged through special circumstances to depart before the end of the tenure period, he/she shall receive a prorated stipend. Promote security and defense alliances between the United States and Spain and the Atlantic Alliance (NATO). Through this Addendum to the Global Development Alliance (GDA) Annual Program Statement (APS) APS No: APS-OAA-21-00001 (the GDA APS), the U.S. Agency for International Developments Mission in Mali is making a special call for the submission of Concept Papers focused on catalyzing private sector investment for Malis economic recovery through inclusive and sustainable development. The specific objectives of this Addendum are to: Foster inclusive and sustainable agriculture-led growth Catalyze agricultural investments that strengthen resilience among people and systems Improve productivity of agricultural market systems to promote a well-nourished population, especially among women and children Expand job opportunities and job skills training among priority populations in targeted geographies. (NB: this objective must be paired with at least one of the three above). Subject to funding availability, USAID/Mali may allocate up to USD $3,000,000 to fund two or more GDAs with the private sector. Funding for individual applications is anticipated to be in the range of USD $250,000 to $1,500,000 to be provided over a period of 2-5 years, depending on the approach of each individual application. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) is seeking applications for funding from qualified entities to implement programming and activities for Humanitarian Capacity and System Strengthening. BHA is soliciting applications to support programs that focus on improving policies, practice, and standards in humanitarian response through increased coordination among key stakeholders, technical and policy engagement with relevant global actors, innovative and effective approaches to delivering and financing humanitarian assistance, as well as for thematic and operational issues improving humanitarian response to affected populations. This also includes enhancing humanitarian actors ability to respond to humanitarian crises by developing tools and methodologies that contribute to greater understanding of key issues affecting people in crises and humanitarian actors responding to their needs. BHA expects successful applicants to work with BHA and other relevant stakeholders to make new policies, practices, tools, methodologies and innovations available to the wider humanitarian community, where appropriate. Activities are grouped by objective. For the first round of applications, BHA will consider applications focused on only one objective. Should an applicant wish to submit an application for more than one objective, the applicant must do so by submitting separate applications for each objective. Subject to the availability of funds, BHA intends to have more than one round of applications under this APS. BHA intends to award predominantly cooperative agreements, but reserves the right to award any other form of assistance agreement. For the first round of applications, BHA anticipates that the total amount of each award will not exceed $3 million over a two-year period of performance and interested applicants may submit applications for lesser amounts.
