The United States Agency for International Developments (USAID) Mission to the Pacific Islands is developing a new program entitled Pacific Economic Growth Activity (PEG). The Regional Office of Acquisition and Assistance (ROAA)/USAID Pacific Islands has drafted preliminary technical requirements for the purpose of market research and also to provide industry implementers and stakeholders an opportunity to review, comment, suggest and enhance areas of the draft document. It is anticipated that this requirement will result in two separate awards with an expected period of performance of five years within an award range of $15-$18 million for Papua New Guinea/Solomon Islands/Vanuatu (PNG/SI/VAN) and $18-$22 million for Fiji, Kiribati, Palau, Republic of Marshall Islands (RMI), Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Nauru, Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu. The USAID South Sudan Peace Building and Independent Media Activity grant is a request for information from interested parties to help design a new initiative aimed at promoting peace and independent media in South Sudan, with the responses potentially influencing future funding opportunities and acquisition strategies.

This funding opportunity is designed to support initiatives that reduce child labor and improve labor rights and working conditions in Honduras, primarily through the efforts of World Vision.

The purpose of the new Countering Trafficking in Persons and Support to Vulnerable Populations (CTIP/V) activity is to (1) prevent trafficking in persons (TIP) through a strengthened comprehensive, government-led counter-trafficking response and (2) to ensure nationwide access to trauma-informed and survivor-centered recovery and reintegration services for victims of trafficking, exploitation, gender-based violence (GBV) (particularly intimate-partner violence and conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV)), and detention/torture. This Activity has four main objectives: Objective 1: Understanding of TIP risks and prevention strategies increased, especially among government officials and vulnerable groups. Objective 2: Sustainability and availability of comprehensive, trauma-informed protection services increased to ensure seamless access for victims of trafficking and war-related trauma across Ukraine. Objective 3: Prosecution of those willfully engaged in TIP strengthened. Objective 4: Partnerships developed and strengthened across government, civil society, and socially responsible businesses to counter TIP at the decentralized, national, and European regional levels. Request for Information (RFI)The United States Agency for International Development in Bangladesh is in the process of gathering information to support the anticipated design of a new activity in the water sector. Through this RFI, USAID is seeking information from outside organizations to inform the design of the new USAID/Bangladesh Feed the Future Water Management Activity. This activity will support the sustainable management and utilization of water resources to meet the diverse water needs of communities, ecosystems, and economic activities in the Khulna, Barisal, and Sylhet Divisions.
