The Conservancy may fund activities within or benefitting the Delta and Suisun Marsh as defined in Public Resources Code section 85058 (a map can be found at this link: https://www.deltacouncil.ca.gov/pdf/delta-plan/figure-1-1-delta-boundaries.pdf). The Conservancy may fund an action outside the Delta and Suisun Marsh if the Board makes all the findings described in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Reform Act of 2009 (CWC, div. 35, §§ 85000 – 85350). The Conservancy will fund planning projects, which include pilot projects. Allowable activities for planning projects include, but are not limited to, project scoping (partnership development, outreach to impacted parties, stakeholder coordination, negotiation of site access or land tenure); planning and design (engineering design, identifying appropriate best management practices); and environmental compliance (permitting, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) activities, Delta Plan consistency). The Conservancy will fund implementation projects, which include acquisition projects. Implementation projects are specific, on-the-ground projects that result in the construction, improvement, or acquisition of a capital asset that will be maintained for a minimum of 15 years. Implementation projects are "shovel-ready" projects. Applicants must submit a concept proposal, as found on the Conservancy’s website, before submitting a full proposal. Partnerships are encouraged but not required. There are no limitations on number of submissions by organizations. Applications are received via email for concept proposals and by uploading files to a designated site for full proposals. Awards are announced at a Board Meeting and applicants are informed with a letter.

The Transportation Alternative and Recreational Use FY25 Grant, administered by the Maryland State Highway Administration, aims to fund transportation alternative and recreational use projects within the state. This federal grant offers 80% reimbursable funds, requiring a 20% match from project sponsors. Projects should enhance the intermodal transportation system or support recreational trails and amenities. Project sponsors are responsible for all aspects of their project, including design, management, construction, and maintenance.

Governor Katie Hobb’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) issues this Request for  Grant Application (RFGA) Solicitation concerning the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency  Prevention (JJDP) Title II Formula Grant Program per A.R.S. §41-2701. Applications for this program will only be accepted through the state’s web-based grants management system, eCivis. It is anticipated that the results of this RFGA will be announced on September 19, 2024. The deadline for submission of an application in eCivis will be on or before 5:00 PM (Arizona time) on July 25, 2024. Financial Notes: This is a 12-month contract that may be renewable for up to two (2) additional 12-month periods, contingent upon federal appropriations, compliance with terms and conditions, programmatic and financial performance, and submission of a renewal application. It is anticipated (but not guaranteed) that the total funds available will be approximately $600,000 per year. The number of awards will depend on the number and quality of applications received. Qualifying applicants are anticipated to be awarded between $40,000 and $100,000 for the first term. Contracts are anticipated to be effective on October 1, 2024, and end September 30, 2025. Funding will be allocated on a reimbursement basis. No pre-award costs will be considered. The United States Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency  Prevention (OJJDP), provides funding for the Title II Formula Grant. The Catalog of  Federal Domestic Assistance (C.F.D.A.) number for the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Title II Formula Grant is 16.540.

Funding comes through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service from federal gas taxes deposited in the federal Aquatic Resources Trust Fund.

The program provides 50 percent reimbursement to selected outdoor recreation projects sponsored by political subdivisions and other public agencies. Eligible projects include the development and/or acquisition of outdoor facilities for public recreation. Applications will be reviewed for eligibility according to the LWCF guidelines and the 2021 Kansas Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). Applications should include all required documentation and meet the needs identified in the 2021 Kansas Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). A checklist is included to ensure project sponsors have met all requirements. Incomplete or late applications will result in withdrawal from funding consideration. Federal Standard Forms (SF-424) for Budget Information and Compliance Assurance are also required.

This funding opportunity provides financial support to Alaska Native and rural nonprofit organizations to enhance their involvement in managing subsistence fisheries on federal public lands in Alaska.

Public Health – Seattle & King County is offering a grant of $100,000 to $500,000 for projects that support diverse youth mental health providers, particularly those connected to LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities, with the aim of increasing access to mental health resources, improving retention, and supporting diverse providers in King County, Washington.
