This grant provides funding to California-based nonprofit organizations and local governments for collaborative art projects that address social issues in underserved communities.

The Budget Act of 2022 (Senate Bill 178, Skinner) and Government Code section 12100.140 et seq. established an Export Training program within GO-Biz. The program is one-time funding for competitive grants to service providers to develop or scale export training programs and curricula. Respondents to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) must demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and ability to provide such training. The key purpose of this program is to fund export training programming that supports California small business owners, provides access to export services for underserved businesses, advances immigrant integration and supports immigrant entrepreneurs, and includes training programs in languages other than English wherever possible. Additionally, this program may consider funding export training programs that are aimed at developing an export-capable workforce should there be sufficient program funding. Organizations are strongly encouraged to collaborate on applications and to utilize each other's resources effectively. Program Objectives:• Equip new-to-export businesses with comprehensive knowledge of global markets and essential international trade knowledge.• Provide ongoing assistance to current exporters, aiding them in sustaining and broadening their presence in foreign markets.• Cultivate a fresh cohort of businesses eligible for the California State Trade Expansion Program, preparing for participation in export promotion activities, including trade shows.

Grant program designed to train underrepresented population to successfully enter the construction industry and the trades. The program focuses removing barriers for entry and transitioning graduates to DOL-registered apprenticeship programs. The goal of the Illinois Works Act is to ensure that all Illinois residents have access to State capital projects and careers in the construction industry and building trades, as well as provide contracting and employment opportunities to historically underrepresented populations in the construction industry and the trades. The Illinois Works Pre-apprenticeship NOFO and program is a critical component in the success of the Act, by increasing the number of qualified construction and building trades apprentices who are women, people of color, veterans or from otherwise underrepresented populations (as defined by the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act) and preparing them to enter full apprenticeship programs on their way to careers in construction and the building trades.

The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) invites applications from not-for-profit and for-profit providers for the development and operation of Community Based Residential Programs (CBRP) for individuals under Community Supervision. The CBRP is a housing initiative to assist parolees under the jurisdiction of DOCCS to attain stability in the community while providing for individual case needs and community safety. CBRPs provide food, counseling, and other services such as substance abuse treatment, educational/vocational training, mental health and social services to residents either directly or through referral to credentialed providers. (Note: a CBRP is not to be confused with Substance Use Residential Treatment Programs). To be eligible for an award, programs must have a current and valid Certificate of Occupancy (COO). For initial award, applicants must have the demonstrated ability to start the program on October 1, 2022, or upon approval by the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC). An approved site visit may be required by DOCCS within 10-days of a tentative contract award notification by the Commissioner.The components of this RFA are as follows:A CBRP provides a structured setting and services for a period of up to 120-days, withextensions available upon approval of DOCCS’ Re-Entry Contract Manager, to thefollowing client groups:Client Group A: Newly released parolees from state or local correctional facilities who do not have an acceptable residence.Client Group B: Parolees who require increased supervision and structure in order to change behavior patterns which, given case circumstances, may otherwise lead to re-incarceration; and/orrequire removal from their current living environment due to crisis situations or need for temporary housing.Client Group C: Parolees with mental health, physical and/or medical concerns.Client Group D: Parolees who have a history of sex offense(s) and/or arson.Many of the parolees have histories of chemical dependency, mental illness, unemployment, health concerns, and substandard housing. They are released from state or local incarceration after convictions for offenses for which they continue to serve a sentence that was imposed by a local County Court. They generally are returning to the communities where they were residing at the time of their arrest.DOCCS reserves the right to award more than one contract for a Catchment Area based on the need for residential programs that include Client Group D. DOCCS seeks to establish Community Based Residential Programs throughout New York State under the following general provisions and designated Catchment areas as listed in RFA 2021-02.

The impact goal is to make significant investments in 25 LGBTQIA+ led businesses across the United States, thereby facilitating their growth and increasing their capacity for job creation and community contribution. The program prioritizes businesses that meet the outlined eligibility criteria, focusing on those with a demonstrated need for capital and a clear potential for growth. Beyond the direct financial support of $25,000 grant packages, a key focus is providing access to resources. This includes connecting grant recipients with like-minded entrepreneurs through the Founders First family network, and offering exclusive access to webinars and other valuable educational resources designed to enhance business acumen and operational efficiency. The expected outcomes of the LGBTQIA+ National Grant include the direct financial empowerment of 25 small businesses within the LGBTQIA+ community. Measurable results will include the number of businesses receiving grants, their continued operation and growth, and their engagement with the provided resources. Founders First's strategic priorities are clearly centered on increasing the number of successful, diverse founder-led businesses, and this grant program serves as a critical component of their theory of change, which posits that targeted financial investment combined with robust support systems will lead to sustained economic impact and a more equitable entrepreneurial landscape.

The Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) Program is the Library of Congress’s premier educational outreach initiative, designed to provide instructional materials, tools, education, and professional development. Its core mission is to enhance teachers' ability to integrate digitized primary sources from the Library of Congress into instruction. This integration is intended to build student literacy, critical thinking skills, content knowledge, and the ability to conduct original research. Since the establishment of the Center for Learning, Literacy and Engagement in 2018 and the release of the Library's Strategic Plans (2019-23 and 2024-2028), the TPS goals have evolved to influence and reflect the Library’s broader outreach goals, aligning the program with the vision of connecting to all Americans. TPS Consortium members, identified as "Connectors," are crucial to achieving this strategic objective. This specific Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is for Continuing Awards (FY25-FY27) and is exclusively open to current TPS Consortium members who have previously received grants directly from the Library and meet the stated eligibility requirements. The primary focus of this funding is to solicit project proposals that expand the use and dissemination of teaching materials, tools, and strategies developed under previous TPS awards. The Library seeks to leverage the expertise of these experienced TPS providers to reach specific, identified populations. Cultural Collaborations Grants The Cultural Collaborations and Arts Educator Fellowship Programs are made possible through support from the Rasmuson Foundation, administered by the Alaska State Council on the Arts. A school may apply for and receive an Arts Excursion grant, and a Project or Access Grant per school year. A school may also receive support for an Artists in Schools residency in the same school year, either as an individual school or through a district grant. Eligible projects/programs provide regularly scheduled sessions over an extended period of time. Nonprofit organizations, schools or school districts are eligible to apply. The Arts Educator Fellowship program provides grants to certified, permanently-assigned, full and part-time K-12 teachers to immerse themselves in their own creative work, interact with professional artists, and stay current with new artistic practice. The Arts Educator Fellowship is meant to create opportunities for Alaska teachers to fill their own artistic wells. Eligible applicants may apply for up to $3,000 in support of Arts Educator Fellowship (AEF) activities, based on actual expenses.

The Vermont Emergency Management (VEM) announces the availability of FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funds for the Presidential Declaration DR-4720 Severe Flooding. Up to $64,170,000 is available for hazard mitigation projects and up to $4,830,000 for planning activities. The program supports projects aimed at enhancing resilience, reducing loss of life, and minimizing damages to property. Eligible applicants include local governments, state agencies, and certain non-profits performing government-like functions. Priority is given to projects that benefit frontline and disadvantaged communities and those that align with the Vermont State Hazard Mitigation Plan. Pre-applications are accepted on a continual basis until August 16, 2024. Projects must be proven cost-effective through a Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA). VEM provides technical assistance throughout the application process. HMGP funding is available statewide and does not need to be related to damages from the July 2023 flood.
