Funding Information Your requests for project funds must be for a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $25,000. The overall level of funds available is $230,000. Tree Inventory or Urban Tree Canopy Assessment: The community may use this grant for the development and implementation of or the expansion of a community tree inventory or urban tree canopy assessment.  Management/Response Plan: The community may use this grant to cover expenses related to the creation or update of an urban forestry management or response plan. It can also be used to fund the development or the review and update of tree ordinances. Education/Training: The community may use this grant to cover the costs of educating and training the Project Coordinator, tree advisory groups, municipal staff, and local officials in the proper care of trees. Community Engagement & Tree Planting: Any tree planting project MUST include community engagement. If you already have a community engagement plan/program, please include it in your application. All grant recipients will work closely with the CUF team to develop a community engagement strategy that is unique to your community and its needs. The specifics of this strategy will develop as your project does but keep this requirement in mind as you complete this application. The aim of VPART is to prevent crime against members of the LGBTQ+ community. This grant seeks to support this mission and identify designated organizations that can coordinate the VPART team, services for LGBTQIA+ individuals who are victims of crime, and empower other CBOs by conducting training sessions for their staff and volunteers. The MOLGBTQA convenes a monthly VPART meeting with the mission to bring together community and government agencies to reduce violence and harm against members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Funding Areas  To qualify for the FY2025 LGBTQIA+ VPART Grant, applicants must identify at least one service area to be addressed: Violence Response Services or Victim Prevention Outreach. Applicants may indicate their interest in providing both services. Please specify the service area(s) for which you are applying and how your skills and experience are relevant to the needs and goals of the community. It is encouraged that applicants apply to as many services and programs as possible to demonstrate their full capacity to support the objectives of VPART. If selected for funding, applicants may be asked to focus on fewer services and programs within each area. This will depend on the number of grantees selected and how they are organized to be a part of VPART. Victim Response Services Objective: To address and mitigate violence within the LGBTQIA+ community through comprehensive support, education, and outreach.  Case Management: Assist LGBTQIA+ individuals who have been victimized and are navigating the criminal, civil legal, and social service systems. Provide assessments, planning, facilitation, and coordination to identify and access culturally and linguistically appropriate goods or services based on victims’ self-identified goals and needs.  Legal Services: Provide professional legal advice regarding one’s role in criminal proceedings.  Trauma-Informed Mental Health Services: Link individuals impacted by crime or addiction to treatment and care provided by mental health professionals. Services must be culturally appropriate, victim-centered, and delivered in a manner that is welcoming and suitable for trauma survivors. Violence Prevention Outreach Objective: To further reduce violence and harm within the LGBTQIA+ community by providing education, resources, and direct support aimed at harm reduction, recovery, and education and training.  Cultural Humility Training: Train and provide support to nonprofits, businesses, and government organizations that serve the LGBTQIA+ population throughout Washington, DC.  Community Education: Provide guidance and strategies for community members that may reduce the likelihood of physical or emotional harm. This includes conducting workshops, seminars, and public awareness campaigns.  Harm Reduction Intervention: Deliver essential harm reduction and overdose prevention resources to community members through outreach, potential establishment of support networks, and/or direct connection to addiction treatment services. Target Population The target population for these funds are individuals who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning, with a focus on those who are at a higher risk of being targeted by hate crimes and bias incidents. The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) is now accepting proposals from Delaware county and municipal governments, conservation districts and estuary programs for matching grants for surface water project planning. They can be used for a variety of projects, such as: Retrofitting stormwater systems Establishing green technology practices Restoring streams and wetlands Small watershed studies Developing master surface water and drainage plans The program is designed to assist counties and municipalities to prepare surface water projects for funding through Delaware Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund (WPCRLF). The available funding can be used to assist with surface water planning in general, and for specific project planning and designs necessary to submit a loan application to the WPCRLF for funding consideration. Program Goals Grant applicants should focus their proposals on one or more of the following program goals: Providing benefits to water quality within an impaired watershed Planning and/or preliminary design for projects associated with a watershed management plan Planning and/or preliminary design for community stormwater management improvements in existing developments and municipalities Restoration or retrofit projects to provide water quality benefits Funding Information Funding for projects receiving a grant award in any grant cycle will be capped at $50,000 with a 1:1 cash match requirement. This program provides funding to local governments, regional park districts, and eligible Tribal Entities in California to promote the use of recycled rubberized pavement in public roadways and pathways, helping to reduce tire waste and support sustainable practices.

The 2024 Dairy Digester Research and Development Program (DDRDP) and Alternative Manure Management Program (AMMP) offer grants, funded by the California State Budget, to support projects that reduce methane emissions from dairy and livestock operations in California, with a focus on funding new projects and those that have successfully implemented AMMP projects in the past.

This grant cycle has been designed for smaller projects that complement existing and/or regional HHW programs in California. Grant applications must include one or more of the following types of projects: HHW public education and outreach for general audiences (may include extended producer responsibility [EPR] information).Implementation of sustainable EPR collection opportunities, to include but not limited to: (1) Promotion of an ongoing retail take-back program such as batteries or fluorescent lamps at local hardware stores, businesses, or government facilities.(2) Promotional collection events hosted at businesses or government facilities.(3) Promotional public education and outreach materials specifically for local retail take-back programs. (4) Project to: Determine and implement the most safe and cost effective methods for collecting propane gas cylinders and/or marine flares.Implement effective education programs and identify effective incentives that reduce the disposal of household hazardous waste. The incentives must be something reusable to replace HHW being disposed (does not include monetary or SWAG incentives, rechargeable batteries, adapters, valves, caps or other accessories for refilling propane canisters).(5) Set-up and operation of temporary or mobile collection program for one-day or multi-day collection events for the following except for those materials that are currently covered by another recycling/collection program (e.g. covered electronic waste, cell phones, thermostat, etc.): Common HHW materials and universal waste.Marine flaresPropane gas cylinders up to 5 gallonsSolar panels as a pilot project. Awardees are required to collect and report data on type/style of panels, manufacturer, volume, and the method of disposal.(6) New or expanded curbside and/or door-to-door collection programs to allow for the collection of new and eligible HHW materials. (7) Minor improvements to an existing HHW facility. (Examples include but are not limited to: storage bins, signage, painting, paving, shelving, etc.). Purchase of personal protection equipment. (8) 8-hour refresher Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standards (HAZWOPER) training. Projects that do not fall within one of these eight categories will not be eligible for grant funding. A Resolution is required by the secondary due date.  

This competitive grant offering is designed to fund construction projects that establish new or expand existing HHW programs in California. HHW construction projects do not qualify for CalRecycle grant funding unless they are past the design phase of the project and are prepared for construction (shovel ready). Applicants must have completed proper site analysis, conceptual design and most of the local approval processes. The permitting, licensing and siting approval process must be well underway. Applicants must provide documentation by providing a completed General Checklist of Business Permits, Licenses and Filings form (CalRecycle 669). The applicant must convincingly indicate that they are beyond the planning phase of the construction project and can successfully complete the HHW construction project before the Grant Term ends (date of Notice to Proceed email to September 30, 2026). Grant applications must indicate one of the following types of projects: (1) Construction of a new Permanent HHW Collection Facility or Recycle-Only HHW Collection Facility; or (2) A construction project that expands/upgrades an existing Permanent HHW Collection Facility or Recycle-Only Collection Facility. The Green Transportation Capital Grant Program provides funding to transit authorities for cost-effective capital projects that reduce the carbon intensity of the Washington transportation system. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Office of Spill Prevention and Response (CDFW‐OSPR) is seeking grant applications to help fund projects that enhance, restore, or acquire habitat for wildlife, with available funding totaling $5,000,000. These grant funds come from CDFW-OSPR’s Environmental Enhancement Fund (EEF), which acquires funds from spill violations in accordance with California’s Lempert-Keene-Seastrand Oil Spill Prevention and Response Act. The EEF selection committee includes representatives from the California Coastal Conservancy, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and CDFW‐OSPR. The selection committee is seeking projects with a minimum requested grant award of $500,000. Projects must be completed by April 1, 2031. Multiple projects may be submitted for funding. Disbursement of money from the grant is contingent on the availability of funds in the EEF. To qualify, an environmental enhancement project must 1. Be located within or immediately adjacent to waters of the state, 2. Have measurable outcomes within a pre-determined timeframe 3. The Budget Act of 2022 (Senate Bill 178, Skinner) and Government Code section 12100.140 et seq. established an Export Training program within GO-Biz. The program is one-time funding for competitive grants to service providers to develop or scale export training programs and curricula. Respondents to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) must demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and ability to provide such training. The key purpose of this program is to fund export training programming that supports California small business owners, provides access to export services for underserved businesses, advances immigrant integration and supports immigrant entrepreneurs, and includes training programs in languages other than English wherever possible. Additionally, this program may consider funding export training programs that are aimed at developing an export-capable workforce should there be sufficient program funding. Organizations are strongly encouraged to collaborate on applications and to utilize each other's resources effectively. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is offering a $10 million grant to tribal nations and local governmental units in Minnesota for projects aimed at preparing local wastewater infrastructure for climate change impacts, with a focus on protecting water quality, increasing resilience, and promoting energy and water efficiency.

The 2024 Dairy Plus Program is a $58 million grant initiative aimed at supporting advanced manure management practices in dairy farming, offering up to $1,250,000 per project that proposes innovative methods for reducing methane emissions and nitrogen and salt surplus, with the funding being provided on a reimbursement basis after project completion.

The 2024 AMMP and DDRDP grants, funded by the California State Budget and the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, aim to provide financial support for projects that reduce methane emissions from dairy and livestock operations, with a focus on alternative manure management and dairy digester research and development.

The Harbor Facility Grant Program provides financial assistance in the form of a 50/50 matching grant to municipally or regional housing authority owned small boat harbor facilities in the State of Alaska. Port or barge facilities are not eligible for the grant program. This grant program is funded on an annual basis at the discretion of the Alaska Legislature and consists of two tiers, Tier I and II.   The first tier has priority and consists of “Major Maintenance and Repair” of a harbor facility that was previously owned by the state and now is municipally or regional housing authority owned. A harbor facility may only receive one Tier I grant regardless if it is for all or only a portion of that harbor facility. The boundaries of a Tier I harbor facility will be based on the Department’s 1995 Alaska Harbor Directory or as determined by the Department. Once a Tier I eligible harbor facility receives a Tier I grant, the status of that harbor facility changes from Tier I to Tier II henceforth. After all eligible Tier I projects have been selected, the Department will consider Tier II projects.  The second tier consists of all other municipally or regional housing authority owned harbor facilities, including construction of a new harbor facility. Harbor facilities which have already received a Tier I grant can only compete for Tier II grants. Tier II grants may comprise “New Construction, Expansion, or Major Maintenance and Repair” of a harbor facility. A harbor facility is eligible for multiple Tier II grants. Eligible applicants include: • Manufacturers that produce (or will produce) an eligible product.• Waste tire processors that also manufacture an eligible product.• Manufacturers of devulcanized rubber.• Rubber compounders.• Manufacturers of calendered rubber sheeting products.• Manufacturers that produce products on a contract basis for other companies provided they have that other company’s written permission to produce an eligible product and receive the incentive. Eligible products include: • A new or existing product that has not benefited from the Tire-Derived Product Grant Program.• An existing or new/improved product currently manufactured with virgin rubber, plastic or other material which will be produced with a minimum of five percent crumb rubber and may be co-extruded, injected, compounded, calendered or otherwise combined (also known as “feedstock conversion”). This includes compounded rubber and calendered sheet rubber as intermediate products.• An existing or new/improved product currently manufactured with virgin rubber, plastic or other material which will be produced with a minimum of five percent devulcanized crumb rubber and may be co-extruded, injected, calendered or otherwise combined. This includes devulcanized crumb rubber as an intermediate product.• An existing or new/improved product that will use fine (≤50) mesh crumb rubber. Particle size and particle size distribution are determined in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D5644 and D5603 and will be verified by CalRecycle or a CalRecycle contractor.
