The City of Wauchula is seeking applications for its Revitalization Grant Program to restore and improve commercial buildings within the Wauchula Community Redevelopment Agency District in an effort to improve the area in ways that contribute to the physical, economic, social and aesthetic well-being of the City of Wauchula. Eligibility Criteria  Applicants must be one of the following: A not-for-profit Florida corporation with at least 60% of your operating cash budget originating from earned income and classified by the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) as a 501I3, sub-class “public charity”. A state partner (i.e., a department, museum, or other organization working under the FEID number of a part of the State of Florida, Florida State University, Florida A&M University, or Tallahassee State College). Applicant must have a governing Board of Directors that meets regularly and operates under a set of by-laws. Applicant must be able to demonstrate the receipt of community support through subscriptions, memberships, earned income, foundation grants, and/or other private fundraising (including in- kind support). Applicant must have documented statistics on attendance and participation for your programs and/or facility (paid or free) that represent a broad community impact. The Florida Department of State is seeking applications for its Specific Cultural Project (SCP) grant to fund a single cultural project, program, exhibition or series. The Division offers four proposal types Arts In Education projects promote arts and culture in education; Discipline-Based cultural or artistic projects; Underserved Cultural Community Development projects assist with the development of underserved cultural organizations; Artist Projects provide public benefit through the creation or presentation of new artistic work. Funding Information Specific Cultural Projects have a maximum request of $25,000. Grant Period July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Eligibility Criteria All applicants must meet the following basic eligibility requirements at the time of application. All current and previous grantees must be in good standing with the Division of Arts and Culture and the Department of State at the time of application. Applicant organization must be either a public entity or a Florida non-profit, taxexempt corporation as of the application deadline. All organizations must have at least one year of completed arts and cultural programming and be able to provide their last completed fiscal year’s operating budget. Applicant must have registered with the Division of Corporations and their status be “active,” as of the application deadline. Applicant must be registered as a vendor with the Department of Financial Services and provide a copy of their Florida Substitute W-9 form with the application. Applicant must provide their UEI number at the time of application. Applicant must provide a copy of their most recently completed Federal 990 form with the application. There are specific eligibility requirements for the Arts in Education, Underserved Cultural Community Development and Artist Project applications and for the following disciplines: Museum, Professional Theatre, Traditional Arts, Arts in Education, Local Arts Agency and State Service Organization application types. Specific Eligibility Requirements Applicants must also meet the following additional eligibility requirements based on their Proposal Type Arts in Education (Residency) have a minimum of 30 contact hours. Artist Performances on Tour be a professional artist; solo artists and at least 50% of duos and ensembles must be a Florida resident for at least one year prior to the application deadline and maintain residency in Florida throughout the project; be able to demonstrate performances and educational components of high quality; use a professional contract, press kit and promotional materials; may not be enrolled in a degree or certificate program; and be able to substantiate their touring experience. Teaching Artists be professional artists and educators; be a Florida resident for at least one year prior to the application deadline and maintain residency in Florida throughout the project; be able to provide evidence of classroom experience. be 18 years of age or older; and not be enrolled in a degree or certificate program. Museum discipline be open to the public for at least 180 days a year; own or utilize works of art, historical artifacts or other tangible objects (live or inanimate); and exhibit these works of art, historical artifacts or other tangible objects to the public on a regular schedule. These grants focus on direct support for aging adults or support for caregivers of aging adults. Funding Information Grant Size: Up to $15,000. Grant Period October 1, 2024 – December 31, 2025. Eligibility Criteria  Nonprofit organizations with current 501(c)(3) status and a 2-year work history. Annual operating budget of $100,000 or above. Located in and serving Duval County, with some limited support available for services in Baker, Clay, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties. Foundation is unable to fund: Athletic associations Fundraising event sponsorships Schools and school-based organizations (PTAs, boosters, etc) Requests outside the region (must be in: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau or St. Johns counties, with a primary focus on Duval) Programs promoting religious beliefs.
