Neighborhood associations and other groups play a vital role in enhancing and strengthening their own neighborhoods. The Bernalillo County Neighborhood Grant Program was created to assist neighborhood groups to continue their participation and outreach to their members and all residents of Bernalillo County. Funding Information The maximum amount award possible is up to $5,000 per association, per grant period. Project/Event Requirements Must be performed within Bernalillo County (including areas in the city limits) Must provide a positive, public benefit to all residents Must be free and open to all residents within neighborhood association boundaries Must emphasize self-help, with project ideas initiated, planned and implemented by the neighbors and community members who will themselves be impacted by the project Strong neighborhood grant applications must include community match resources. Who may apply? Individual, recognized Neighborhood Associations within either Bernalillo County or the City of Albuquerque are eligible to apply for grant funding through this formal proposal.
