The Pittsburgh Foundation is accepting applications for the Raymond C. and Martha S. Suckling Fund to improve the lives of low-income residents in Sewickley and the surrounding communities. Primarily serves communities disproportionately impacted by poverty. Funding Information Duration: Generally, grants will be awarded for no more than two years due to limited availability of funds. Amounts: One-year grants generally range from $10,000 to $75,000. Two-year grants will generally not exceed $150,000. Actual grant amounts are determined based on staff review of each individual application and consideration of the funding available at the time the application is received. In limited situations, proposals that align with one or more of the grantmaking focus areas and with racial justice, and that clearly demonstrate the need and potential impact, may be considered for a larger grant. Organization leaders should have a conversation with a program officer before submitting a request for more than $150,000. The Art and Change Grant is not intended to support the creation of residencies, apprenticeships, and/or retreats unless it is clear how it will (1) move the applicant’s own artistic practice forward and (2) engage the community-at-large with a socially engaged project. Art and Change Grants are not intended to fund the same project for which you received a prior Leeway Grant. However, you may apply for different phases of a previous funded project. Qualifying expenses must be related to the following: Education (classes, certificates, training), Empowerment (retreats, workshops, coaching), and Enhancement (new software, products, equipment) for business owners and/or their employees to promote business growth and stability. The City of York is required by law to obtain the following information from all grant program applicants. This information is used by the City to determine the eligibility of the applicant under US Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD) guidelines.
