Funding Priorities In the 2024 granting cycle, GWC will consider grant applications in any area that enhances the quality of life in Greenwood County.ย Funding Information Grants awarded will range from a minimum of $1000 to a maximum of $10,000. Eligibility Criteria Grants will be awarded only to organizations with 501(c)(3) or comparable tax-exempt status. Grants are for the direct benefit of residents of Greenwood County. Organizations must not discriminate on the basis of age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, physical ability, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or religious belief.ย Organizations seeking funding from GWC are not excluded from applying for grants through the Greenwood County Community Foundation in the same granting year. An organization that receives a GWC grant will not be eligible to apply two years in a row.
