This grant opportunity is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-andinvest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health. There is no limit on the number of buses an applicant may request. Ecology will award up to three (3) bus replacements per applicant per selection round. Up to $75,000 for the cost of charging or fueling infrastructure per replacement bus. Funding level 2: Applicants with a FRPL percentage 50%-94% or is an SLEA Funding up to 115 percent of the difference between zero emission and fossil fueled replacement. There is no limit on the number of buses an applicant may request. Ecology will award up to ten (10) bus replacements per applicant per selection round. Up to $75,000 per replacement bus for the cost of charging or fueling infrastructure. Funding level 3: Applicants with a FRPL percentage below 50%  Funding up to 100 percent of the difference between zero emission and fossil fueled replacement. There is no limit on the number of buses an applicant may request. Ecology will award up to ten (10) bus replacements per applicant per selection round. Up to $50,000 per replacement bus for the cost of charging or fueling infrastructure. Eligible Projects  An eligible project is the scrap and replacement of fossil fueled school buses with new zero emission school buses, including charging or fueling infrastructure needed to charge or fuel the new zero emission school buses. School buses being scrapped must be:  Powered by fossil fuels such as diesel, gasoline, propane autogas, or natural gas.  Owned by the applicant  Licensed, registered, and insured for on-road operation in Washington for at least one (1) year prior to August 15, 2024  Replaced with a new zero emission school bus. Fuel-operated passenger heaters are allowable optional equipment. Eligibility Criteria This solicitation is open to school bus owners that transport students to K-12 schools identified by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). The Washington Federation of Animal Care and Control Agencies offers grants funded by the "We Love Our Pets" License Plates, dedicated to supporting actual spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats within Washington State. Eligibility for this grant is restricted to member organizations of the federation. These grants are awarded quarterly, with application deadlines on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31 each year. Priority is given to organizations targeting specific groups such as cats, Pit Bull breeds and mixes, or other at-risk animal populations, pets of low-income owners, areas with limited access to these surgeries, communities with high euthanasia rates, those able to conduct the most surgeries at the lowest cost, and those that collaborate with other organizations. Applications are accepted quarterly with deadlines on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. Airports are vital to Washington state, fueling its economy and providing critical links to the state and national transportation system. WSDOT Aviation has been charged with the general supervision over the Airport Aid Grant Program, pursuant to RCW 47.68 on the legislature website, in which the program provides crucial financial assistance to public-use airports in the preservation of Washington's system of airports. Under RCW 47.68.090, any city, county, airport authority, political subdivision, federally recognized Indian tribe, public corporation, or person(s) that owns and operates, a public-use airport included in the Washington Aviation System Plan (WASP) is considered an eligible airport sponsor and may apply for WSDOT Airport Aid grant funds. The municipality, tribe, or person(s) may act jointly with other municipalities, tribes, or persons to plan or carry out the project. The airport sponsor must own or, in some cases, have a long-term lease (minimum twenty years) for the land upon which the project will be accomplished.

LIHEAP provides energy assistance to households in Washington through a network of community action agencies and local partners. These local organizations will help determine your eligibility and how much assistance you might receive. If you qualify, your local LIHEAP agency will send a payment directly to your energy utility on behalf of your household. LIHEAP primarily assists households by making an energy assistance grant directly to the energy provider on behalf of the eligible household. LIHEAP may also help repair or replace an unsafe, dysfunctional, and inoperative heating or cooling system in some situations. Households eligible for LIHEAP may also qualify to have their homes made more energy efficient through the Weatherization Program. The amount of money awarded to your household will depend on multiple factors. For example, each household’s size, income and annual heat cost will affect the amount of their LIHEAP grant. You’ll have to schedule a LIHEAP appointment with the provider in your community to find out how much you could receive.

The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) makes funds available to drinking water systems to pay for infrastructure improvements. This program is funded through federal and state money and subject to state laws and additional federal regulations. The program provides: Low-interest construction loans to publicly (municipal) and privately owned drinking water systems. These loans cover capital improvements that increase public health and compliance with drinking water regulations. Construction loan repayments can range from 20 to 30 years. In some cases, partial loan forgiveness is offered. Planning and engineering loans to cover preconstruction work and activities such as water system plans, engineering designs, and cultural reviews. Consolidation Feasibility Study grants allow larger Group A community water systems such as cities, town, counties, public utility districts, and water districts to determine feasibility and capital improvements needed to consolidate smaller or struggling water systems into their service area.
