The Energy CLASS (Champions Leading the Advancement of Sustainable Schools) Prize is a grant opportunity offered by the U.S. Department of Energy State and Community Energy Program Office (SCEP). The prize aims to support local education agencies in establishing and training energy managers to identify, plan, and implement efficiency and health upgrades in schools. With $80 million available, the grant will help schools across the country lower utility costs, improve indoor environmental quality, and reduce carbon emissions. The Energy CLASS Prize consists of two phases. In Phase 1, up to 25 selected LEAs will receive $100,000 in cash prizes to support participation in a 12-month training program. The Fund for Community Reparations for Autistic People of Color's Interdependence, Survival, and Empowerment is offering a grant opportunity for autistic people of color. The fund aims to provide direct support, mutual aid, and reparations to this community. The fund is based in the United States but has a global reach. The fund practices redistributive justice and mutual aid by returning and sharing money directly with autistic people of color. They offer microgrants for survival, organizing, leisure, and pleasure to Black, Brown, Native, Asian, and mixed-race individuals in the autistic community. The fund is committed to Disability Justice principles, including leadership by those most impacted, intersectionality, anti-capitalist politics, cross-movement solidarity, interdependence, collective access, and collective liberation. The fund is specifically for autistic people of color and not for parents, caregivers, or family members. However, in some cases, applications from parents or caregivers on behalf of autistic people of color may be approved. The fund prioritizes applications that emphasize the autistic person's individual wants, needs, desires, preferences, choices, and interests. They may approve applications for therapy if it is desired by the autistic child, but they do not approve applications for ABA therapy. Applications for household help or necessities like rent and bills are also considered, especially if there are multiple autistic children in the family. The Pulitzer Center is offering the Truth Decay Grant Initiative for journalists and newsrooms interested in addressing science misinformation, science denial, and the spread of pseudoscience. The initiative aims to expose those responsible for spreading misinformation and support journalists in developing innovative responses to combat mistruths. They are particularly interested in proposals that explore the reasons behind the spread of scientific misinformation, the challenges of reporting on science in today's media landscape, the creators and beneficiaries of misinformation, and unique perspectives on pseudoscience and misinformation in society. This includes a financial management system and a bank account. Quality and Feasibility of the Program Idea The program idea is well developed, with detail about how program activities will be carried out, and a reasonable implementation timeline. Goals and objectives: Goals and objectives are clearly stated. Embassy priorities: Applicant has clearly described how stated goals are related to and support U.S. Embassy Vienna, Austrias priority areas or target audiences. Budget: The budget justification is detailed, reasonable and realistic, and accounts for all necessary expenses to achieve proposed activities. Monitoring and evaluation plan: The program includes output and outcome indicators and shows how and when those will be measured. Sustainability: Program activities will continue to have positive impact after the end of the program. 2.Review and Selection Process A Grants Review Committee will evaluate all eligible applications. The program prioritizes projects that demonstrate a clear connection to classroom learning and standards, as well as those that have a significant component of outdoor activity. Award Details: Grants of up to $1,000 are available for eligible projects. A one-to-one match is required, which can include in-kind support such as volunteer hours or donated materials. Only one application per school per year will be accepted. The grant is renewed annually, with a deadline for applications on May 1st. Applicants will be notified within six weeks. Eligibility: - Applicants must be teachers at a Wisconsin public school (K-12). - Projects must address the grantmaking priorities and meet the eligibility requirements. - Proof of IRS tax-exempt status (IRS form 501c3 tax determination letter) or a letter of support from the school administration should be included with the application. The Well Abandonment Grant program provides financial assistance to properly fill and seal abandoned or unused private wells. Eligible applicants include landowners, their spouses, heirs, legal representatives, renters of the land, and shared well owners of a private residential water supply. To qualify, applicants must have a family income of $65,000 or less from the prior calendar year, with reduced reimbursement for those earning between $45,000 and $65,000. The grant covers the costs of materials and labor required for well abandonment. Applications must be submitted and approved by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) before any work begins to qualify for reimbursement. The application process involves obtaining an itemized estimate from a licensed well driller or pump installer, completing the necessary DNR forms, and submitting them via email or mail. Approved applicants will receive a grant award packet and must complete the well abandonment within one year. Reimbursement, which covers 75% of eligible expenses, is processed after submitting the completed reimbursement forms.

Examples of PD Small Grants Program programs include, but are not limited to: Academic and professional lectures, seminars and speaker programs; Artistic and cultural workshops, joint performances and exhibitions; Cultural heritage conservation and preservation programs; Professional and academic exchanges and programs; Programs developed by an alumnus of a U.S.-sponsored or supported educational or professional exchange program.

This grant provides financial support to individuals and organizations in Wisconsin for projects that promote safe and ethical hunting by recruiting new hunters, especially adults, women, and families, while addressing barriers to participation.
