This Annual Program Statement (APS) offers USAID Operating Units a mechanism to facilitate assistance awards to local and non-traditional partners for innovative, adaptive, and locally led development approaches. OUs may issue addenda under this umbrella to solicit, co-create, and fund a wide range of flexible and innovative approaches to locally led development related to their specific priorities, objectives, and programs. The APS aims to advance USAIDs capability to work with local partners, to learn from these engagements, and to share this learning broadly. The City of Germantown is excited to announce the Neighborhood Grants Program. Donor Name: City of Germantown State: Tennessee City: Germantown Type of Grant: Grant Deadline:  05/06/2024 Size of the Grant: $1000 to $10,000 Grant Duration: Grant Duration Not Mentioned Details: The City of Germantown has a program to support neighborhood leaders as they engage their neighbors, beautify their surroundings, improve resident communications and increase a sense of well-being in their neighborhoods.  To that end, Germantown’s Neighborhood Grants Program supports Germantown homeowner and neighborhood associations by providing grants for projects that fall under one of the following categories: Engagement Projects that bring neighbors together for fellowship and recreation Examples: block/cove parties, movie nights, food trucks, face painting, youth projects, neighborhood festivals, etc. Communications Projects that increase the effectiveness of neighborhood organizations Examples: website development, newsletter development, flyers, printing costs, mailers, association establishment, governance training for neighborhood leaders, etc. Beautification Projects that enhance or improve public areas Examples: holiday decorations, common area landscaping, neighborhood art projects, HOA/entry signs, gardening supplies, decorative street sign funds, etc. Safety Projects that increase a sense of safety and well-being Examples: Germantown Night Out, health and wellness seminars, spotlights, Neighborhood Watch awareness, emergency preparedness, Flock (license plate reading) cameras, etc. Funding Information Two maximum awards of $5,000 each will be awarded per grant period. Additional microgrants ranging from $500 to $1,000 will be awarded until the allotted $25,000 per fiscal year has been reached. Eligibility Criteria Applying neighborhood organizations must be established with elected leaders and bylaws Applicants must submit an IRS W-9 form with their application. Program Requirements Applications must be legible; typed is appreciated. Only one grant application per neighborhood association will be accepted. Grants must be used for public purposes only. Proposals must be drafted and approved by the neighborhood or homeowners association. All grant funds must be used by June 30, 2025. The association must provide receipts after the project or event. Any unused funds must be returned to the City. If the grant is used for an event, the event must be documented with photos and a sign-in sheet. The event must take place within the designated neighborhood. Events must be free of charge and open to everyone without regard to race, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation or any other status protected by law. All receipts and documentation must be returned to the City within 30 days of the project or event’s completion. Grant funds may not be used to purchase weapons or alcohol. The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to contribute to the knowledge base of and development of food safety systems globally due to the increasingly diverse and complex food supply. This cooperative agreement will: 1) enhance and broaden FDAs ability to address global food safety and public health issues associated with food, 2) provide opportunities to leverage additional resources among WTO member countries, and3) support the FDAs Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and its International Food Safety Capacity Building Plan, which emphasizes the concept of preventing food safety- related problems before they occur and the importance of establishing strong relationships and mutual support among all stakeholders, including multilateral organizations, to improve worldwide food safety. 4) Support global research and capacity building to improve best practices to build effective food safety systems in low- and middle-income countries

The Art and Change Grant (ACG) provides grants of up to $2,500 to fund art for social change projects by women, trans, and/or gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers living in Greater Philadelphia. Leeway supports artists and cultural producers involved in art for social change that positively affects and engages communities and audiences. Creating social change must be integral to the ideas, beliefs, and goals that are woven throughout your art and your process of creating and sharing your art. Impact of Art with Vision Art for social change is art with a vision and an intentional analysis. It is an artistic or creative cultural practice that may operate in traditional or nontraditional mediums, modes, or disciplines. Art with a vision impacts people in many ways. It can: Raise consciousness Alter how they think about themselves, their society, or their culture Create a vision of a more just world Be a tool or strategy for organizing and movement building Preserve or reclaim traditional cultural practices using your artistic practice as a form of resistance or empowerment Create space for expression and build a sense of community Challenge racism, classism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, ableism, or other oppressions Question mainstream culture and beliefs Shift or transform the perception of power and/or privilege and the dynamics associated with justice, equality, and/or accountability Value healing justice practices focused on strengthening communities, not just individuals Engage and utilize a reciprocal process — where there is teaching and learning simultaneously and the consent for engagement is mutual, as is the benefit for yourself as an artist and the community you are engage. Eligibility Criteria Applicants are only allowed to submit one application per grant cycle. The Art and Change Grant is not for organizations, corporations, or fundraising activities. The Art and Change Grant cannot be used for activities completed prior to when the grant is announced. The Art and Change Grant is not intended to support the creation of residencies, apprenticeships, and/or retreats unless it is clear how it will (1) move the applicant’s own artistic practice forward and (2) engage the community-at-large with a socially engaged project. Art and Change Grants are not intended to fund the same project for which you received a prior Leeway Grant. However, you may apply for different phases of a previous funded project. Grant Name: 2023 City of Menifee M.E.N.U Grant Program Location: California Description: The M.E.N.U. Grant aims to support unique concepts and entertainment proposals from residents in Southwest Riverside County by removing market and construction barriers. It aligns with Menifee’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), addresses community and demographic demands, and promotes tourism opportunities in the city. Eligible expenses include start-up costs such as grease trap installation, kitchen equipment, and other approved startup expenses. Applicants are required to submit a pre-application detailing proposed expenses and providing concept board or visual renderings. Pre-applications will be accepted until December 24, 2024, or until all designated funds have been distributed.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity is issued to announce the availability of a Cooperative Agreement designed to assist the FDA in developing, implementing, and improving a nationally consistent system of support which facilitates the implementation of state and territorial produce safety regulatory programs that are modernized and aligned with the standards set forth in the FDAs Regulation: Standards for the Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding of Produce for Human Consumption (commonly referred to as the Produce Safety Rule).This goal shall be accomplished in partnership with the FDA by identifying, generating, sharing, and leveraging resources andinformation which aids in the development and implementation of national, state, and territorial produce safety regulatoryprograms that are nationally uniform and consistent with the Produce Safety Rule, and which improve their effectiveness andenhance their capabilities.

Healthy Living Grant Program – Minnesota supports communities in building social connections through healthy eating, physical activity, mental health awareness, and community building. The purpose of the grant is to increase well-being through community-driven action, with a $1,000 grant award limit per applicant and activity or program. Eligible activities include new programs or initiatives that support physical or mental well-being and social connections, and are inclusive for all members of the community. Examples of eligible uses for grant funds include promotional materials, healthy foods at wellness activities, mental health support groups, meditation classes, exercise equipment for public use, gardening materials, tobacco cessation groups, and space rental and event materials.
