The US Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) received FY2023 funding from Congress for the sole purpose of managing and improving the understanding of submerged aquatic invasive grasses with focus on Hydrilla, Milfoil, and Elodea. The Northeast Region is managing $250,000 of these funds. The Service is seeking proposals that address Hydrilla infestations in the Connecticut River.Hydrilla was first detected in the Connecticut River in 2016. The Connecticut River stretches from the Canadian border through New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, finally emptying into Long Island Sound. With 38 main tributaries, the watershed plays an important role in New Englands identity. Funds made available through this grant opportunity will support the following priority goals:Prevention of further spread of hydrilla into inland and tributary watersExpansion of surveillance in the Connecticut River and to tributaries and nearby watersEarly detection surveillance in tributaries and nearby waters.Rapid response efforts supporting control and eradication of new infestationsManagement and containment of existing populationsImprove awareness and affect behavior of water users through education and outreach initiatives.

USAID/DRCs vision for Kitumaini is a five-year long activity that will focus on service deliveryresults in five (5) health zones in Haut-Katanga, with possible expansion to other provinces asguided by Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC)/PEPFAR. This activity also intends tostrengthen the capacity of local sub-recipients to enhance their capabilities to receive assistanceawards from USAID through transition award(s). This service delivery and capacity buildingactivity will include all aspects of HIV epidemic control. Activities will take place in health zonesassigned to USAID/DRC. This service delivery activity will prioritize services that focus on prioritypopulations, orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and key populations (KP). The recipient willcoordinate with other implementing partners to facilitate the transition of the existing KPprogram, Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) to Kitumaini.

HRSA-25-002, HRSA-25-003, and HRSA-25-004 announces the opportunity to apply for funding under Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Early Intervention Services (EIS) Program: Existing Geographic Service Areas. The purpose of this program is to provide comprehensive primary health care and support services in an outpatient setting for low-income people with HIV. Under this announcement, successful applicants must provide: (1) counseling for individuals with respect to HIV; (2) targeted HIV testing; (3) periodic medical evaluations of individuals with HIV and clinical and diagnostic services for HIV care and treatment; (4) therapeutic measures for preventing and treating the deterioration of the immune system, and for preventing and treating conditions arising from HIV; and (5) referrals for people with HIV to appropriate providers of health care and support services. These services are to be provided directly or through referrals, contracts, or memoranda of understanding (MOUs). This competition is open to current RWHAP Part C EIS recipients and new organizations proposing to provide RWHAP Part C EIS funded services in the geographic service areas listed in Appendix C. Please note that there are 3 funding announcement numbers included in this document with 3 different periods of performance (See Appendix C). If you are applying for more than one service area, you must submit a separate application for each proposed service area. All allowable services must relate to HIV diagnosis, care, and support, and must adhere to established HIV clinical practice standards consistent with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Guidelines. Please refer to the HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) Policy Clarification Notice (PCN) 16-02 Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Services for a list of RWHAP allowable core medical and support services and their descriptions. According to the RWHAP Part C statute: At least 50 percent of the amount received under the award must be expended on EIS costs (except counseling and referrals/linkage to care); At least 75 percent of the award (after reserving amounts for administrative costs, planning/evaluation, and clinical quality management (CQM)) must be expended on core medical services costs (Please note: EIS is a subset of this 75 percent of the award) and; Not more than 10 percent of the total RWHAP Part C award funds can be expended on administrative costs. The National Historical Publications and Records Commission seeks projects that will significantly improve public discovery and use of historical records collections. All types of historical records are eligible, including documents, photographs, born-digital records, and analog audio and moving images. Projects may focus on broad movements in U.S. history, such as law, politics, social reform, business, military, the arts, and other aspects of the national experience, or on the papers of individual figure(s) in American history. Collections that center the voices and document the history of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color are especially welcome. With the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence approaching, the Commission is especially interested in projects that promote discovery and access to collections that explore the ideals behind our nations founding and the continuous debate over those ideals to the present day. Major Collaborative Archival Initiatives must be collaborations among multiple institutions that undertake either of these two eligible activities to: digitize and publish as a virtual collection online historical records housed at multiple repositories but center on a common theme, organization, or important historical figure(s); or create and test new tools and methods for the archival field to enhance public access, especially for born-digital records. Projects that actively engage the public in the work of the project will be more competitive. If you have a project that will process and/or digitize collections and will not require more than $150,000 in grant funds, you should consult the Archival Projects program. A successful Major Collaborative Archival Initiative proposal will: demonstrate the value of the contents of the collections, outline a project that addresses best practices for the work, be appropriately staffed, propose a budget that accomplishes the project in a cost-effective manner, and outline activities that bring researchers to the collections included in the project as well as the rest of the repositorys holdings. Award Information A grant is for one to three years. Awards will be between $150,000 and $350,000. The NHPRC expects to make up to five grants in this category for a total of up to $1,000,000. Grants begin no earlier than January 1, 2025. The Commission requires that grant recipients acknowledge NHPRC grant assistance in all publicity, publications, and other products that result from its support. Eligibility Eligible applicants: U.S. nonprofit organizations or institutions U.S. colleges, universities, and other academic institutions State or local government agencies Federally-acknowledged or state-recognized Native American tribes or groups Projects must be collaborations that include at least one of the eligible activities described for this program. Applications must include all required elements (SF424, Project Narrative, NHPRC Budget form, and Supplemental Materials). Applications that do not meet either of these criteria will not be considered. In order to ensure eligibility, applicants should first review the rules and regulations governing NHPRC grants under the Administering an NHPRC Grant section. Cost Sharing The total costs of a project are shared between the NHPRC and the applicant organization. Cost sharing is required. The applicant's financial contribution may include both direct and indirect expenses, in-kind contributions, non-Federal third-party contributions, and any income earned directly by the project. NHPRC grant recipients are not permitted to use grant funds for indirect costs (as indicated in 2 CFR 2600.101). Indirect costs must be listed under the applicant's cost sharing contribution if they are included in the budget. The Commission provides no more than 50 percent of total project costs in the Major Collaborative Archival Initiatives program. Other Requirements Applicant organizations must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting an application, maintain SAM registration throughout the application and award process, and include a valid Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number in their application.
