This fellowship provides financial support to Idaho artists and writers to recognize their exceptional work and help advance their careers.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse Loan Repayment Program (LVNLRP) makes awards to eligible applicants currently licensed and practicing as a vocational nurse for loan repayment of up to $8,000 in exchange for a 12-month service obligation practicing and providing direct patient care in an eligible geographic or approved site designation. The purpose of this document is to provide a program overview and outline the requirements for Licensed Vocational Nursling Loan Repayment Program (LVNLRP) applicants. Applicants will find steps to complete their application and awardees can review program requirements to complete their service obligation. All applicants must agree to the terms and conditions prior to receiving funds. The Department of Health Care Access and Information will not make changes to the terms and conditions specified in this Grant Guide. Background and Mission The Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) works to increase and diversify California’s healthcare workforce by providing loan repayments and scholarships to health professional students and graduates who provide direct patient care in those communities. LVNLRP is funded through a $5 surcharge from renewal and licensure fees collected by the Department of Consumer Affairs for Licensed Vocational Nurses in California. The purpose of this program is to increase the number of appropriately trained nurses providing direct patient care in a qualified facility or area in California.

The Steven M. Thompson Physician Corps Loan Repayment Program (STLRP) makes awards to eligible applicants currently licensed and practicing as a physician for loan repayment of up to $105,000 in exchange for a 36-month service obligation practicing and providing direct patient care in an eligible geographic or approved site designation.       

The Licensed Mental Health Services Provider Education Program (LMH) makes awards to eligible applicants currently licensed and practicing in an eligible mental health profession for loan repayment of up to $15,000 in exchange for a 12-month service obligation practicing and providing direct client care in an eligible geographic or approved site designation. 

The Bachelor of Science Nursing Loan Repayment Program (BSNLRP) makes awards to eligible applicants currently licensed and practicing as a registered nurse for loan repayment of up to $15,000 in exchange for a 12-month service obligation practicing and providing direct patient care in an eligible geographic or approved site designation.

The Maine Arts Fellowship recognizes artistic excellence in the overall career of a Maine artist. Donor Name: Maine Arts Commission State: Maine County: All Counties Type of Grant: Fellowship Deadline: 07/03/2024 Size of the Grant: $1000 to $10,000 Grant Duration: 1 Year Details: Fellowships are not grants for artist projects; they are a merit-based awards that evaluated by a review panel on the level of artistic creativity and vision shown in the artist’s support materials.  One artist will be selected for each discipline, creating a cohort of 7 Maine Artist Fellows. Maine Artist Fellowships are available in each of the following artistic disciplines: Belvedere Handcraft (Available only to residents of Hancock or Washington County) Fine Craft Literary Arts Media Arts Performing Arts Traditional Arts Visual Arts Funding Information Award: $5,000. Grant Period July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. What an artist can expect as a Maine arts fellow? Unrestricted award to help advance artists career as they see fit Artist Bios hosted on Maine Arts Commission website and included in all digital publications Year Long promotion/communications of fellow’s activities. Fellowship Reception with Maine Arts Staff and Commissioners at the Blaine House in early 2025. Networking and other collaborative opportunities throughout the year. Note: Opportunities for fellows can change year to year and this list is subject to change throughout the year.(Award amount is not subject to change in this FY2025 cycle). Specific Fellowship Requirements Belvedere Handcraft – Available to craft artists of Hancock or Washington County only. Artists working in clay, fiber, glass, leather, metal, paper, stone, wood or other studio craft mediums are eligible to apply. Craft artists in counties other than Hancock or Washington should apply for the Fine Craft Artist Fellowship. Fine Craft – Available for craft artists engaged in contemporary studio practice and/ or traditional materials such as clay, fiber, glass, leather, metal, paper, stone, wood, or other mediums. Craft artists residing in Washington or Hancock counties should apply for the Belvedere Handcraft Fellowship. Literary Arts- Available to contemporary literary artists in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, prose, and other writing genera.  Literary artists who work in the medium of scriptwriting for the stage or screen should apply in the performing arts fellowship category. Multimedia/Film- Available to media artists and filmmakers working in the disciplines of film, video, animation, podcasts, web series, and other performative works that are presented through a mediating technology (not meant to be experienced live). Photography artists should apply to the Visual Arts Fellowship. Performing Arts- Available to artists working in disciplines including theatre, dance, music, scenic design, opera, script writing and other genera intended to be presented as a live performance. Traditional Arts -Available to a person for the experience and commitment to the traditional art form they practice.  The program honors Maine traditional artists who have devoted their lives to keeping a particular traditional art form alive. These arts call for a deep connection to place and local practices and play an essential role in shaping a traditional artist’s work and repertoire. This could include maintaining cultural traditions in building, writing, music, dance, textile arts, carving, weaving, boatbuilding, and other heritage expressions practiced by established populations or new immigrant artists. Visual Arts – Available to artists working in disciplines including painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, photography, installation, and other visual arts genres. Digital art can fit within this category, but artists working with the moving image may wish to apply to the Media Fellowship. Eligibility Requirements Is an individual Maine artist or part of an artist collective (collectives may only apply once per award cycle, with one member as the primary contact and who submits the application). If applicable, has completed Final Reports required by the Maine Arts Commission for previous awards. Is a current Maine resident who has resided full-time in Maine for at least one year just prior to the application deadline. Will be a Maine resident throughout the project period. Is at least 25 years of age or older by the application deadline. Is not an enrolled student at the start of the award cycle (July 1) (Please contact the agency if you have questions). CDFW may make grants to, reimburse, or enter into contracts or other agreements, as defined in subdivision (a) of Section 1571, with public and private entities, including universities, nonprofit organizations, and California Native American tribes, as defined in Section 21073 of the Public Resources Code, for the use of the funds from the Upland Game Bird Account to carry out the purposes of Fish and Game Code §3684, including related habitat conservation projects. Any proposal fitting the criteria in this statue is qualified to be funded. 

It is the policy of the State to enhance the development of all eligible infants and toddlers to minimize developmental delays and maximize individual potential for adult independence. It is the need of the State to implement, on a statewide basis, locally based, comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary, interagency, Early Intervention (EI) services for all eligible infants and toddlers. The EI Program is a statewide program for the evaluation and assessment of infants and toddlers ages birth to three, as well as the provision of services for those who have a qualifying disability or diagnosis, a 30 percent delay in development in one or more of the five developmental domains, or who are at risk of developmental delays. Children and families access EI services through one of 25 Child and Family Connections (CFC) offices. This Notification of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) issued by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Division of Family and Community Services, Bureau of EI, seeks agencies located within Illinois to serve as the CFC offices for designated geographic areas. (See chart in Appendix I to identify the area served by each CFC office.) CFC offices are the regional intake entities defined in state statute (325 ILCS 20) and rule (89 IL Admin. Code 500) as IDHS’s designated entity responsible for implementation of the EI Program within its designated geographic area. IDHS is required to assure the designation of regional points of entry to accomplish consistent and equitable intake and service coordination throughout the State, with services defined in Section A.2. Separate proposals for each geographical intake region must be submitted for those agencies submitting for more than one geographical intake region.

WCSP provides scholarships to students in associate or bachelor’s degree programs that qualify them for WellnessCoach Certification through the education pathway in exchange for a 12-month service obligation providing CWC services in California. Eligible applicants may receive up to $35,000. The purpose of this program is to increase the number of CWCs providing direct services in California. The Wellness Coach profession is a new, certified position to increase our state’s overall capacity to support the growing behavioral health needs of our youth. It is designed to help build a larger and more diverse and representative behavioral health workforce in California that hasthe training and supervision needed to engage directly with young people where they live, study and work. Wellness Coaches will offer non-clinical services that support children and youth behavioral health and well-being. Services include wellness promotion and education, screening, care coordination, individual and group support, and crisis referral. The model will supplement and support existing behavioral health roles, fill gaps in the current behavioral health workforce, and create a larger and more diverse workforce with whom youth can connect.

The Golden State Social Opportunities Program (GSSOP) makes awards to eligible applicants currently enrolled in a graduate program from a University of California or California State University campus or a nonprofit independent institution of higher education that prepares them to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or a Licensed Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) for a scholarship of up to $25,000 per year for a total of up to $50,000 in exchange for a 24-month service obligation practicing and providing direct patient care in a community-based organization.

The Behavioral Health Scholarship Program (BHSP) makes awards to eligible applicants currently accepted or enrolled in an accredited academic or certificate program that prepares them to become one of the eligible professionals under this program for a scholarship of up to $25,000 in exchange for a 12-month service obligation practicing and providing direct patient care in an underserved community in California.

Artist Opportunity Grants (AOGs) support Arizona artists as they take advantage of specific, unique opportunities that have the potential to significantly impact their professional growth. Donor Name: Arizona Commission on the Arts State: Arizona County: All Counties Type of Grant: Grant Deadline: 06/20/2024 Size of the Grant: $1000 to $10,000 Grant Duration: 1 Year Details: What is an eligible opportunity? As this grant is available to artists working in all disciplines and at any stage in their career, a wide array of opportunities could be considered eligible, so long as there is potential for significant impact in one or more of these three categories: Introduce Your Work to New Audiences An opportunity to present your work in a significant way that will expose your work to new audiences or raise your artistic profile. Develop New Skills An opportunity to develop new artistic skills through participation in activities like conferences, artist residencies, workshops, fellowships, master classes, or apprenticeships. Develop Your Artistic Entrepreneurship An opportunity to expand your entrepreneurial capacity, such as the production of marketing materials, website development, payment of professional fees (lawyers, accountants, etc.), and any practice-related capital expenses (like equipment purchases, materials, services, rental fees for equipment or facility, etc.) Funding Information Artists may request between $500 and $1,500 in funding. Funding Period July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025. Eligible Expenses  Grant funds may be used for any of the following (this list is not comprehensive): Equipment purchases, materials, or services needed to fulfill/engage in the opportunity Rental fees, including equipment, instruments, facility (including short-term space and studio rentals), etc., which support the artistic opportunity Preparation, freight, and/or shipping costs Costs associated with documentation of the opportunity Travel necessary to engage in the opportunity (see Funding Restrictions for more information) Registration fees Professional fees which support the artistic opportunity Grant funds cannot be used for any projects, or days of a project, that take place before the start date of the cycle in which they are submitted, and/or after the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2025). If your full project timeline starts before or ends after the funding period, you are still eligible to apply and should articulate the full timeline in your application, but should only request and use grant funds for project activities taking place within the funding period. Who may apply? Applicants must be individuals and may submit only one application per cycle. Organizations are not eligible to apply. At the time an application is submitted, and the grant is awarded an applicant must be: 18 years of age or older and a resident of Arizona. An individual may submit only one application per grant cycle and may receive only one AOG every two (2) fiscal years. The Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) Recovery Reimbursement Grant, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, aims to support farms, integrators, and allied industries directly impacted by HPAI, particularly those within control or quarantine zones. The program is designed to mitigate financial losses by reimbursing eligible costs related to the outbreak. With five rounds of funding, the latest round focuses on biosecurity enhancement reimbursements up to $25,000 per premises, with a total fund allocation of $2 million. This initiative encourages the implementation or improvement of biosecurity practices to elevate poultry farm and business biosecurity standards, address weaknesses, and decrease HPAI cases. The application deadline for Round Five has been extended to May 2, 2024, with eligible expenses including loss of income, mortgage interest, rent, utility payments, working capital for reopening, and payroll costs among others.

This fund provides matching financial support to small and mid-sized New York farms for safety improvements and repairs, helping them create a safer working environment.

The Well Abandonment Grant program provides financial assistance to properly fill and seal abandoned or unused private wells. Eligible applicants include landowners, their spouses, heirs, legal representatives, renters of the land, and shared well owners of a private residential water supply. To qualify, applicants must have a family income of $65,000 or less from the prior calendar year, with reduced reimbursement for those earning between $45,000 and $65,000. The grant covers the costs of materials and labor required for well abandonment. Applications must be submitted and approved by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) before any work begins to qualify for reimbursement. The application process involves obtaining an itemized estimate from a licensed well driller or pump installer, completing the necessary DNR forms, and submitting them via email or mail. Approved applicants will receive a grant award packet and must complete the well abandonment within one year. Reimbursement, which covers 75% of eligible expenses, is processed after submitting the completed reimbursement forms.
