This program provides funding to Montana communities for the construction or improvement of public fishing ponds, prioritizing projects that promote youth and family fishing, angler education, and accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

The Harm Reduction Community Linkages Project is to support capacity building at harm reduction organizations statewide to expand their client base and develop more comprehensive linkages to prevention, treatment, and harm reduction services for individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD), including prescription opioids as well as illicit drugs such as heroin. This project is funded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Overdose Data to Action – States (OD2A-S) Cooperative Agreement and Illinois General Revenue Funds. Organizations selected for this funding will need to demonstrate success in engaging individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD), including prescription opioids as well as illicit drugs such as heroin; have experience in linking individuals to opioid use prevention, OUD treatment and injection harm reduction services through community referral networks; and show capacity to cover large geographic regions in Illinois focusing on communities that demonstrate a high burden of opioid overdose. These funds will be used to strengthen partnerships between injection harm reduction community stakeholders and providers of OUD treatment and other needed social services to improve local coordination, connect more individuals to the appropriate support services and treatment for OUD, and provide case management as needed among persons who use opioids.

CDP Production grants are available for documentary media productions that focus on California subjects and issues, using the humanities to provide context and perspective. Projects may include film, audio, digital media, web-based and broadcast series, podcasts, interactive, VR, and multiplatform projects. There is no specific length requirement for projects. Projects must approach the subject matter from a humanities perspective and involve at least two Humanities Advisors. Eligible applicants may request funding up to $50,000 with a required 1:1 match of cash or in-kind contributions from non-federal sources. The maximum term for a CDP Production grant is three years after the start of the grant period. Applicants must be non-profit organizations or individuals being fiscally sponsored by a tax-exempt organization or municipal/state agency with federal 501(c)(3) status. Fiscal sponsorship does not need to be confirmed by the application deadline but should be confirmed within 30 days after the application due date if awarded. Grant funds are disbursed in three installments: 50% upon approval of signed award documents; 40% upon approval of an interim report; and the final 10% upon project completion and approval of a final report. The Volunteer Fire Capacity (VFC) Program is a federally funded grant program that allows California to provide local and rural fire departments with minor firefighting, training, communications and safety equipment for their volunteer firefighters. The VFC Program is not intended for major equipment (fire engines, vehicles, etc.) or Capital repairs. The VFC Program has a 50/50 match requirement which means that the applying department must be able to meet the intended grant award, dollar for dollar.
