Eligible program activities and expenses limited to the following: Software, hardware, and labor needed to install NIBRS-compliant record management systems; Agency training on how to collect and submit NIBRS data; and Technical assistance for personnel responsible for data collection and submission. Eligibility Criteria  Eligibility for these funds is open to: Local law enforcement agency defined by Act 54 as a public agency of a political subdivision having general police powers and charged with making arrests in connection with the enforcement of the criminal or traffic laws. Campus police or university police as used in section 2416 of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L.177, No.175), known as The Administrative Code of 1929, certified by the Office of Attorney General as a criminal justice agency under the definition of “criminal justice agency” in 18 Pa.C.S. § 9102 (relating to definitions). Be registered with, and authorized to do business in, the District as either a “Domestic” entity (that is, an entity that was incorporated in the District) or a “Foreign” entity (that is, an entity that was incorporated in another state). Ensure that at least fifty-one percent (51%) of the organization’s activities occur within the District of Columbia. Have an active Board of Directors. Applicants applying as a health care practitioner must include with their proposal a current, valid, unrestricted license to practice in the State of California. The objective of the Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) is to help raise the overall standard of living in rural areas to a level that meets or exceeds statewide benchmark averages by 2030 while preserving the best aspects of cultural heritage and rural way of life. The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Cardiovascular Health Unit is requesting proposals to connect community and clinical sectors among Minnesota adults especially those from communities disproportionally impacted by cardiovascular disease including Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, and Hmong/Asian American communities, to improve heart health and reduce impacts of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. The Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program (THCPP) offers Planning Grants to counties for producing 95% complete construction plans and specifications for full courthouse restoration projects. The grant aims to restore courthouses to their historic period while also meeting current standards for safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency. Eligible counties can use these documents to apply for future restoration funding, gaining up to 10 additional points for being "shovel ready."Counties with approved plans are encouraged to apply for restoration funding in subsequent cycles, maximizing preservation efforts.

The Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program (THCPP) aims to restore and preserve Texas courthouses, enhancing their historical and architectural significance. The Full Restoration Grant facilitates comprehensive projects, including the removal of non-historic alterations, reconstruction of period features, and compliance upgrades for safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency. The Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) announces funding availability for the FY2022 and FY2023 HUD Recovery Housing Program funds totaling $1,924,820 for Arizona's Balance of State. This grant aims to provide a voluntary, safe, substance-free, and temporary living environment for up to 24 months for low-income individuals recovering from substance use disorders. The Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program (THCPP) offers Emergency Grants to address urgent courthouse needs. Emergency Grants prioritize critical issues and funding availability, supporting courthouses and their occupants. The FY25 Destination Development Capital (DDC) Grant Program is a competitive grant program that will award funds to improve facilities and destinations visited by in state and out-of-state travelers, with the goals of increasing visitation, enticing repeat visitation, and increasing the direct and indirect economic impacts of the tourism industry in all regions of the commonwealth. Eligible projects will enhance tourism resources and infrastructure and will aid in destination resiliency. Applications will be accepted for projects that include plans to expand, construct, restore or renovate Massachusetts tourism destinations and attractions. Applicants must demonstrate how the tourism capital project will work to promote the tourism goals of the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism and the corresponding Regional Tourism Council. The DDC grant is focused on capital improvements with a direct relationship to tourism, and other physical/structural items with a greater than five-year lifespan. In accordance with the ResilientMass Plan, projects that include elements intended to increase the climate resilience of a tourism destination or attraction will receive consideration in the review process. Grant Period Grant awards are anticipated to be announced in June 2024, subject to appropriation. Projects must be completed by June 30, 2025. Eligibility Criteria  A public agency, municipality, or nonprofit organization incorporated in Massachusetts with 501(c)3, 501(c)5, 501(c)6, status from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that does one of the following: Produces, promotes, or presents tourism attractions and activities for the public. Provides public access to physical collections and exhibits. In operation for at least two consecutive years since January 2020. Agency must be in good standing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and city/town: Must be current on all taxes due through December 31, 2022; and have active and valid state licenses/registrations, if applicable. Applicants must have spent at least $15,000 in a fiscal year on tourism related items. Applicant must indicate how they are addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organization. Applications must be complete, must include all required documentation and be submitted through the online portal, by the deadline, in order to be considered. The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) is a federal program administered in Michigan by the Department of Natural Resources on behalf of the National Park Service. It aims to develop public outdoor recreation facilities and offer matching grants to local governments for creating public outdoor recreation areas and facilities. The grant focuses on aligning with the priorities of the 2022-2027 State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan, which includes trails, community recreation, green technology, coordination, communication, and universal access. Acquisition of land is not eligible for funding under this grant. Notice of Funding Availability - FY24 Arizona Automobile Theft Authority AATA Grant programs are available for Law Enforcement, Training and Theft Prevention projects to Arizona Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice agencies. The solicitation is to fund a project that will evaluate the feasibility of using existing underground gas storage facilities to store clean renewable hydrogen in California. Donor Name: California Energy Commission (CEC) State: California County: All Counties Type of Grant: Grant Deadline: 06/28/2024 Size of the Grant: More than $1 million Grant Duration: 3 Years Details: This project will develop technical and economic assessments of storing and retrieving hydrogen blends and/or pure hydrogen as well as California-specific decision-making tools, risk mitigation strategies, market and policy recommendations, and community engagement approaches related to those facilities. Project Focus  Research under this solicitation will support comprehensive technical and economic feasibility assessments of at least two existing underground gas storage facilities in California for their potential to store clean renewable hydrogen. The project is encouraged to assess a selection of geographically diverse sites (i.e., a Northern California site and Southern California site). The project must meet the following requirements: Engage with local communities and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) located around the selected sites for the study and assess the communities’ awareness of and support for underground hydrogen storage. Leverage feedback and learnings from this engagement to inform an experimental design responsive to community interests and concerns. Inform communities of project results and potential impacts of underground hydrogen storage. Study the characteristics of two selected sites representing existing underground gas storage facilities in California and conduct experiments to assess potential impacts of introducing hydrogen to the selected sites. Experiments should be inclusive of use cases involving storage as well as retrieval of hydrogen blends and sufficiently pure hydrogen for separation and end-use needs. Proposals for small-scale pilot testing or field experiments are eligible but must include a robust risk mitigation strategy. At a minimum, experiments should examine: Well integrity including the direct impacts to equipment and mechanical barriers from hydrogen exposure, and the impacts of subsurface environmental and microbial changes following hydrogen injection. Deliverability and reservoir dynamics such as permeability, viscosity, injection and withdrawal optimization, and potential hydrogen losses due to leakage, microbial activity, and time-dependent changes in the subsurface environment. Necessary mitigation measures (e.g., material selection, inspection tools, operational changes) to ensure safety and reliability. Conduct a quantitative risk assessment and techno-economic analysis for converting the selected underground gas storage facilities to store clean renewable hydrogen . This assessment will: Compare costs and risks of potential use cases, considering interactions with connected gas infrastructure (e.g., storage and delivery of hydrogen blends, storage of hydrogen blends with separation at the surface, storage and distribution of pure hydrogen). Estimate levelized cost of hydrogen storage, levelized total capital costs, and operations and maintenance costs for the selected sites, leveraging existing frameworks such as the Local-Scale Framework for Techno-Economic Analysis of Subsurface Hydrogen Storage,  considering California-specific characteristics. Develop recommendations for Gas IOUs, CBOs, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders to support decision making on next steps pertaining to the role of underground hydrogen storage in California, which may include additional R&D or demonstrations. Optional but desired project elements include: Compare the levelized cost of hydrogen storage and life-cycle emissions between underground hydrogen storage and alternative storage options like hydrogen carriers and conversion of hydrogen into synthetic methane. In addition to studying existing underground gas storage facilities, also examine potential of storing hydrogen in saline aquifers in preferable locations that allow for reuse of existing gas pipeline infrastructure. Funding Information There is up to $3,000,000 available for the grant awarded under this solicitation. The minimum funding amount for the project is $2,500,000. The maximum funding amount is $3,000,000. Grant Period November 1, 2024 – September 30, 2027. Eligibility Criteria  This solicitation is open to all public and private entities. Demonstration projects in this solicitation must be located in the service territory of a California gas Investor Owned Utility (Gas IOU), which includes Pacific Gas and Electric Company, San Diego Gas & Electric Company, and Southern California Gas Company. All projects in this solicitation must benefit Gas IOU ratepayers.
