The Clean Energy Primes Contractor Accelerator Program offers progressive courses with one-on-one coaching to help clean energy contractors to develop a business plan. The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), established by Congress in 1965 and permanently funded in 2020, assists governmental units in providing outdoor recreation facilities to meet the increasing demand. In Indiana, the LWCF has allocated around $90 million, benefiting both state and local park projects. The program offers grants covering up to 50% of the costs for acquiring and developing outdoor recreation sites, with a funding range for local applicants between $250,000 and $1 million. Eligible projects include land acquisition, construction, or renovation of public parks and facilities, emphasizing universal access and non-discriminatory public use. Grant Opportunity: Equity Leads for California Statewide System of Support Purpose: Collaborate with the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE), the department, and other lead agencies within the system of support to advance the objectives outlined in subdivision (b) of Section 52059.5. Description: Established in 2023 under Senate Bill 114, Section 79 (Chapter 48 of the Statutes of 2023), the Equity Leads initiative forms an integral part of the California Statewide System of Support. With an annual investment of $2 million, Equity Leads will work closely with local educational agencies (LEAs) to identify barriers to opportunities and implement services aimed at meeting the diverse needs of all pupils. This includes addressing disparities in opportunities and academic outcomes. Moreover, Equity Leads will assess existing resources, including support for educator preparation, recruitment, retention, and professional development, while also monitoring the impact of local control and accountability plan goals implementation. Priority support will be given to schools receiving Equity Multiplier Funding. Program Summary The PATH program is designed to reduce and/or eliminate homelessness for individuals who may be experiencing (SMI) serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. Our goal is to ensure that individuals are connected to mainstream MH services and eventually transitioned into stable housing improve their health, and live a self-directed, purposeful life. Funding Priorities or Focus Areas • IDHS is working to counteract systemic racism and inequity, and to prioritize and maximize diversity throughout its service provision process. This work involves addressing existing institutionalized inequities, aiming to create transformation, and operationalizing equity and racial justice. It also focuses on the creation of a culture of inclusivity for all regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or ability. Project Description The Grantee will operate the Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) formula grant providing flexible, community-based services throughout the State of Illinois to address the needs of adults ages 18-65+ and families, with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders, who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. PATH links the population of individuals with serious mental illnesses (SMI)/co-occurring substance use disorders (COD), who experience persistent and pervasive health disparities, to mainstream and other supportive services. Collectively the PATH resources help individuals experiencing or at risk for homelessness with SMI/COD secure safe and stable housing, improve their health, and live a self-directed, purposeful life.

The Genetic Counseling grant program aims to increase the availability of statewide genetic services for Illinois’ children and family members with heritable conditions or at risk for genetic concerns. Supported by the Newborn Screening fund, the program aids in early detection and continuous treatment of disorders detected through newborn screening. The program seeks to enhance awareness, access to care, and prevention strategies for potentially preventable conditions. Applicants can apply for various components, including general pediatric/prenatal services, education and promotion, outreach, and biochemical genetic counseling. Eligible applicants are genetic counseling centers providing consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services for Illinois residents. Applications are due by July 5, 2024, with awards ranging up to $250,000 per fiscal year.
