Since 2022, Cal ICH has partnered with California Federally Recognized Tribes and stakeholders to develop the Tribal HHAP Program. In 2024, Cal ICH is continuing and expanding our partnerships with Tribes and stakeholders in strengthening the Tribal HHAP program. Through the integration of feedback from the community’s served, Cal ICH’s goal is to continue culturally responsive programming designed to meet the needs of tribal communities, with funding accessible to all California Federally Recognized Tribes in need.Tribal HHAP is a tribal allocation set-aside from the Homeless Housing Assistance and Prevention (HHAP) program, built specifically for and with California Federally Recognized Tribes.

ERF was established to increase collaboration between Cal ICH, Local Jurisdictions, and Continuums of Care (CoCs) for the following purposes: • Assist Local Jurisdictions in ensuring the safety and wellness of people experiencing homelessness in encampments.• Provide grants to Local Jurisdictions and CoCs to resolve critical encampment concerns and transition individuals into safe and stable housing.• Encourage a data-informed, coordinated approach to address encampment concerns.

To ensure that employment & training programs are providing exceptional services to SNAP and TANF customers and their families in Illinois, E&T Training, Technical Assistance(E&T-TTA) is provided to community-based organizations, direct service workers, units of local government, system stakeholders, etc. in regard to Department program models, data collection systems, best practices in collaborative career planning, employability assessments, employment placement, education & training, trauma-informed motivational interviewing, principles and practices of racial equity and various other provider identified trainings and support activities. Additional E&T-TTA functions include an online resource center, networking activities, a training advisory group and the capacity to provide the staff support for various ad-hoc committees to ensure provider input related to program development and improvement activities.

"TANF Job Placement with Retention Providers primarily target current TANF clients. While clients are searching for unsubsidized employment, the Provider is responsible for assuring that they are engaged in work and training activities and hours that are consistent with Federal guidelines. Additionally, the Provider is responsible for developing, constructing and administering programs in a manner that will result in a client compliance level of at least 75%. When determining whether or not a Provider has met the 75% compliance standards, consideration will be given to two factors: 1) clients who meet compliance according to Attendance and Activity Reports submitted by the Provider; and 2) by documentation of immediate and appropriate action initiated by the Provider for clients who fail to comply with assigned activities and hours. Providers earn administrative payments for unsubsidized placements. In order for a placement to qualify the Provider for administrative payment, the client must earn at least minimum wage, work at least 30 hours per week, or less than 30 hours per week with wages of $10.00 per hour or more, resulting in the cancellation of the TANF case due to income, and meet the retention period of 30, 60, 90, 120 days. (See Attachment Cover Sheet Addendum for specific qualifications). TANF Job Placement with Retention programs are operated by the Department for persons receiving TANF. Customers participate in a variety of activities that are countable in the federal participation rate while searching for unsubsidized employment. Activities are highly structured, monitored and documented for meeting accountability requirements. Those activities include: • Work Experience • Community Service • Unsubsidized Employment • Subsidized Employment • Vocational Education Training • Job Search and Job Readiness Activities • Job Skills Training and • Education Directly Related to Employment. The client will continue to participate in these activities until unsubsidized employment is obtained, or until it is determined that participation is no longer an appropriate activity for the client. The Provider is expected to serve and engage customers in countable TANF activities each month during the contract period.

The New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) is offering the Reemployment Training Grant (RTG) Program to provide occupational skills training to unemployed and underemployed individuals. The goal is to help these individuals qualify for full-time or part-time employment or achieve a higher level of employment. Additional points will be given to programs that train priority populations such as veterans, individuals with disabilities, and formerly incarcerated individuals. The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is seeking proposals from non-profit Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) interested in operating the Fiscal Year 2025 Cure the Streets, Domestic Workers Employment Rights, Leaders of Tomorrow: Youth Violence Prevention, or Workplace Rights grant programs. Domestic Workers Employment Rights – OAG will make up to $260,000 ($75,000 available per initiative) in grant funding for Fiscal Year 2025 to be awarded through the Domestic Workers Employment Rights grant program, with no more than $150,000 awarded per organization. CBOs may submit applications for one or both initiatives as outlined below: Hazard Guidance- Up to $75,000 Education and Outreach- Up to $75,000 Leaders of Tomorrow: Youth Violence Prevention – OAG will make up to $500,000 available in grant funding for Fiscal Year 2025 to be awarded through the Leaders of Tomorrow: Youth Violence Prevention grant program, with no more than $100,000 awarded per organization. Selected grantees will identify and mitigate risk factors associated with youth violence and contribute to the long-term wellbeing and success of young individuals. Workplace Rights – OAG will make up to $750,000 available in grant funding for Fiscal Year 2025 to be awarded through the Workplace Rights grant program. OAG will award funds to at least two qualified community-based organizations. No award shall be less than $100,000 per year per grant. Selected grantees will work to educate and support employees as they navigate their rights and responsibilities granted by various employment laws and programs. Achieve Whole Community Impact – Ensure that these Grid funds benefit Arkansans, specifically those who reside in communities that are more susceptible or vulnerable to electric power outages. Support the Development of the State’s Grid Workforce – Support the development of the state’s workforce responsible for grid enhancement projects, potentially by means of offering additional professional development and/or workforce development opportunities. Eligibility Criteria  Applicants shall meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the FY2025 LGBTQIA+ Community Development Grant:  The organization is a community-based organization with a Federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and is licensed as a business with the District of Columbia’s Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection (DLCP); The organization’s principal place of business must be located in the District of Columbia; if the business is a national or regional organization, then it must have a location in the District through which it provides services;  The organization must provide direct services to District residents or collaborate with an organization that provides services to District residents;  All services and programming funded by the grant must be provided within the District of Columbia; The organization must be currently registered and in good standing with DLCP and the Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR). Applicants must maintain their good standing status with the aforementioned entities throughout the pre-award process and the grant’s performance period; The organization shall provide an affidavit regarding any debarments, suspensions, or defaults with the Office of Contract and Procurement (OCP) and Federal Government; and  Current grantees must be:  Current on MOAA reporting obligations for the FY2024 grant cycle; In good standing with the District’s legal requirements, including those imposed by any grants or contracts; and  Progress reports must reflect substantial progress towards the goals of the grant agreement.
