SCCF is excited to offer the 3rd annual Greensburg Future Fund Grant! This application is available to any nonprofit, school, or church located in Greensburg, KS. The purpose of this grant is to allow our communities to have the opportunity for larger funding that has not previously been available through SCCF. This grant should inspire forward thinking and create a large impact in your community/county.

Grant Name: Regional Touring Program Grants Donor: Mid-America Arts Alliance Location: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas Grant Type: Grant Deadline: Ongoing Grant Size: Up to $5,000 Details: The Regional Touring Program grants by Mid-America Arts Alliance support presenting organizations in showcasing the work of artists from within the M-AAA region. Presenters can receive up to 50% of the artist's fee for booking an artist listed on a state touring roster and up to 25% for booking an artist from the region not listed on a touring roster. Rural presenters may receive an additional 10% of the artist's fee. Projects must engage regional audiences through exposure, interaction, and outreach engagement. Eligible projects must feature in-region artists from outside the presenter's home state and include public-facing events between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024. The grant does not cover indirect project costs or expenses associated with benefits or fundraiser events. Eligibility Criteria: Applicant organizations must be tax-exempt non-profit organizations or federally recognized tribal communities incorporated in one or more states in the M-AAA region. They must have a valid EIN and UEI ID and commit to M-AAA's Grantee Assurance of Compliance and Federal Suspension and Disbarment Policy. The Winter Family Fund is a grant opportunity provided by the Douglas County Community Foundation. The fund aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of at-risk and vulnerable populations, with a focus on children and families in specific geographic areas. Eligible organizations must primarily focus on serving disadvantaged, vulnerable, or at-risk children, youth, and families. However, grants can also be made to charitable organizations that don't meet this specific description as long as the funds are targeted for services benefiting these populations. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) entities, tribal organizations, or governmental agencies that conduct business without discrimination. The geographic focus of the grants is primarily on Douglas County, Franklin County, and Johnson County in Kansas, as well as Taos County in New Mexico. The grant application is available from October 1st through November 1st each year, with grants announced by January 15th of the following year. The grant amount varies based on available funds. Successful applicants will need to complete the Winter Family Fund Grant Proposal Application and demonstrate how their proposal aligns with the fund's mission. General operating expenses, ongoing litigation support, multi-year requests, annual campaigns, event sponsorships, fundraising events, lobbying or political activities, debt retirement, non-charitable activities for individuals or endowment funds are not eligible for funding. In 2022 and 2021 respectively, the Winter Family Fund awarded $70,000 and $89,313 in grants to various organizations supporting children and families in need.
