To enhance community engagement, neighborhood identity, public safety strategies, repairs or upgrades to improve overall safety, positive interactions/outcomes and messaging along with fostering resident collaboration. This program is intended to reduce violent and other crime, spur neighborhood investment and development from within and out, reduce code violations, and more, through Association and resident-led projects and programs with respect to resident health and safety, enhancing dignity, aging in place, and other necessary quality of life repairs. Neighborhoods have the opportunity to assist residents in experiencing value through βcommunityβ, and how this and partnerships support strength and stability. Eligibility: Application is open to not-for-profit Neighborhood Associations that are registered (or will partner with an Association who is registered) with the City of Kansas City and with the State of Missouri.
