There are three SO funding tiers: Category 1 for organizations in existence for at least one year with operating expenses under $10 million. Category 2 for organizations in existence less than one year with operating expenses under $10 million. Category 3 for organizations in existence for at least one years with operating expenses over $10 million. Funding Information Award amount: Up to $125,000 for Category 1; up to $62,500 for Category 2; up to $1 million for Category 3 Project Period January 1 2025–December 31, 2025. Eligiblity Criteria For Category 1  Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations, in existence for at least one year, with the arts named in its mission. This is verified by an HAA staff review of an applicant’s 990 on the IRS website. — Applicants may apply for up to $125,000 or a maximum of 20% of the organization’s operating expenses, excluding the value of in-kind contributions. For Category 2  Applicants must be fiscally sponsored, a non-arts-specific 501(c)(3) organization with arts-specific programming, or a 501(c)(3) organization with the arts named in its mission but with less than one year of operations. Applicants may apply for up to $62,500 or a maximum of 10% of the arts program budget, excluding the value of in-kind contributions. For Category 3 Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization, in existence for at least five years and with the arts named in its mission, providing public programs throughout each calendar year and offering free and discounted programs. This is verified by an HAA staff review of an applicant’s 990 on the IRS website. Applicants may apply for up to $1 million or a maximum of 3% of the organization’s operating expenses, excluding the value of in-kind contributions. Applicants must have operating expenses over $10 million, less in-kind contributions and direct financial support from other City of Houston sources, as demonstrated in SMU DataArts reporting. This is calculated as an average over the most recently completed three fiscal years and verified with the organization’s audit. The Fort Worth Tourism PID Grant is administered through Arts Fort Worth on behalf of Visit Fort Worth. Grant Period September 1, 2024 to August 15, 2025.  Eligible Requests  FWTPID Grant funds can be used to support marketing efforts for initiatives, so long as:  all verified hotel room nights are booked within the Fort Worth city limits;  the initiative is culturally based and attracts patrons from outside of a 50-mile radius of Fort Worth;  The applicant must demonstrate an intent to retain and grow the number of overnight visitors to Fort Worth through their initiative;  The applicant must demonstrate marketing and promotions to communities outside of the 50 mile radius of Fort Worth with the intent to increase the visibility of Fort Worth as an overnight destination.  Awards may only be utilized for marketing and promotions of the proposed initiative. At minimum, 30% of awarded funds must be used specifically to target the market 50+ miles outside of Fort Worth. Up to 25% may be utilized for marketing and promotions staff and/or contractors. Eligibility Criteria To be eligible to receive funding from the Fort Worth Tourism PID Grant, an applicant must: be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit in good standing with IRS and up to date with Form 990 filings; have a primary mission to present or produce arts or cultural programming.
