Program Requirements Applications must be legible; typed is appreciated. Only one grant application per neighborhood association will be accepted. Grants must be used for public purposes only. Proposals must be drafted and approved by the neighborhood or homeowners association. All grant funds must be used by June 30, 2025. The association must provide receipts after the project or event. Any unused funds must be returned to the City. If the grant is used for an event, the event must be documented with photos and a sign-in sheet. The three-phase $2.25 million Silicon Carbide (SiC) Packaging Prize—launched by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Electricity—invites competitors to propose, design, build, and test state-of-the-art SiC packaging prototypes that move the industry beyond its current state. To enable grid-based applications, SiC power module capabilities need to be expanded to handle higher voltage and higher current than commercially available products. Toward this end, the DOE Office of Electricity established the American-Made SiC Packaging Prize as a three-phase contest to achieve the goals stated above. An individual prize competitor or group of competitors who are not competing as part of an incorporated private entity must all be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Individuals competing as part of an incorporated private entity may participate if they are legally allowed to work in the United States. The Creative Youth Development program is rooted in the CAC’s belief that arts learning is an essential tool for healthy human development and that it should be available to all young people throughout California, including but not limited to those whose lives have been impacted or interrupted by the justice system. All activities to be funded by the CAC must occur within the Grant Activity Period. The project design must provide for safe, healthy, and appropriate learning environments for youth. The project design must include hands-on learning in specific art forms to develop creativity, skills, and knowledge in at least one artistic and/or cultural discipline, including but not limited to: Dance – contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, jazz, tap, house, movement traditions and forms of all cultures Literary Arts – poetry, zine-making, spoken word Media Arts – animation, video, digital photography, film, podcasts, other forms of new media Music – traditional/culturally specific, folk, jazz, hip-hop, punk, classical Theater – devised pieces, original works, playwriting, interdisciplinary productions Traditional and Folk Arts – basketry, embroidery, weaving, woodcarving Visual Arts – murals, exhibitions, 3D, photography, sculpture, clay works, curatorial training If projects are tuition-based, the applicant must include a robust equity and accessibility plan that includes full scholarships and reduced fees. The project must include sustained activities over a period determined by the needs of the artists, youth, and the parameters of the project. This could mean intensive daily interaction over the course of one to two weeks or weekly interaction over a number of months. Artists(s) to be compensated and supported by this grant must show relevant experience of at least two years, be based in California, and may not be engaged in the project as full-time students in a degree program. If proposing therapeutic outcomes, applicants must establish the qualifications of service providers, how strategies are appropriate to the clinical and/or community arts setting, and how support is culturally responsive to participants. Project design and implementation must reflect a commitment to include and represent the communities to be served. The City of Seaside Visitors Bureau invites funding requests from businesses and organizations that produce tourism projects, programs or events designed to increase overnight visits to the area, especially in the shoulder and winter months. Grant Name: 2023 City of Menifee M.E.N.U Grant Program Location: California Description: The M.E.N.U. Grant aims to support unique concepts and entertainment proposals from residents in Southwest Riverside County by removing market and construction barriers. It aligns with Menifee’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), addresses community and demographic demands, and promotes tourism opportunities in the city. Eligible expenses include start-up costs such as grease trap installation, kitchen equipment, and other approved startup expenses. City of Ashland Business Beautification Grant Program 2023 – Oregon: The City of Ashland is offering the Business Beautification Grant to support private investment in renovating and rehabilitating existing lodging and commercial properties within Ashland City limits. The grant provides financial assistance through a fifty percent (50%) grant match to non-residential property owners for exterior cosmetic improvements, outdoor lighting upgrades, code violation alleviation, sidewalk and infrastructure installation, signage or awning installation, landscaping, outdoor seating installation, and removal of non-conforming or illegal site elements. Eligible applicants must be current property owners or tenants of non-residentially developed properties within City limits with no outstanding debt to the City. All beautification activities must comply with City building and zoning codes and be performed by a licensed general contractor or service provider. This program provides financial assistance to business owners and developers in the South Cape area of Cape Coral, Florida, to help cover site development costs for new construction or renovations, with a focus on job creation and economic growth.

Hurricane Recovery Grants are available for homeowners, renters, and business owners in Daytona Beach, Florida. Eligible residents with moderate or low income can receive up to $9,000 for reimbursement of costs such as mortgage payments, rent assistance, insurance deductibles, mold remediation (for owner-occupied homes), and relocation assistance. Applicants must be Daytona Beach residents, qualify as a "qualifying household," and submit a formal insurance or FEMA claim related to Hurricane Ian or Hurricane Nicole. City of Phoenix Community Canopy Grant is offering up to $2,000 in funding to improve tree canopy coverage in neighborhoods within Qualified Census Tracts throughout Phoenix. The grant aims to assist communities in increasing their tree canopies and creating a more resilient, sustainable, equitable, healthy, and thriving environment.
