Grant Name: New Jersey Clean Construction Program Purpose: To reduce emissions of diesel particles and improve air quality by installing pollution control devices on or replacing qualifying non-road construction equipment. The program, consisting of the Off-Road Diesel Retrofit Grant and Off-Road Diesel Replacement Grant, is a collaborative effort between the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). This initiative aims to address the significant particulate pollution caused by diesel-powered engines in New Jersey, particularly in densely populated high traffic areas and urban centers. The activities funded by this grant must align with the mission of the organization or artist and further the state's cultural objectives. Both organizations and individuals are eligible to apply. Basic Eligibility: - All current and previous grantees must be in good standing with the Division of Arts and Culture and the Department of State at the time of application. - Applicant organizations must be either a public entity or a Florida non-profit tax-exempt corporation as of the application deadline. - Individuals may apply for Artist Project, Artist Performances on Tour, and Teaching Artist grants. - All organizations must have at least one year of completed arts and cultural programming and provide their last completed fiscal year's operating budget. - Applicant organizations must be registered with the Division of Corporations as "active" by the application deadline. - Applicant organizations must be registered as a vendor with the Department of Financial Services and provide a copy of their Florida Substitute W-9 form. - Applicant organizations must have a UEI Number. Grants for Organizations: All applicants must be either a public entity or a Florida non-profit tax-exempt corporation as of the application deadline. There are various discipline-based program areas with their own eligibility requirements such as arts in education projects, artist residency projects, arts partnership projects, discipline-based projects (dance, literature, media arts, museum, music, presenter, theatre, traditional arts, visual arts), and underserved cultural community development projects. Grants for Artists: All applicants must be Florida-based artists who are not enrolled in a degree or certificate program. Artists applying as individuals must create a profile in the grant portal. There are different project types available for artists, including individual artist project grants and arts in education grants (artist performances on tour and teaching artist grants).

Designed to help provide safe and sound housing to households of low income, veterans, seniors, and homeowners with special needs through loans for repairs or improvements. To correct, repair, or replace an essential system and/or critical structural problem for low-income homeowners who are elderly (60+) or disabled. This is not a comprehensive home renovation program; the aim is to stabilize the homeowner's residence by making essential repairs to make the home more livable. The Louisiana Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) is a grant opportunity supported by the National Science Foundation and the Louisiana Board of Regents. The program aims to enhance Louisiana's research and development competitiveness, build partnerships among universities, national laboratories, research centers, and the private sector, and recruit students into science and engineering fields. Eligible applicants include tenured and tenure-track S&E faculty members in any Louisiana public institution of higher education or in any Louisiana higher education institution that is a member of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (LAICU). Post-doctoral researchers and graduate students can participate but must be sponsored by a faculty member who will serve as the Principal Investigator (PI). Undergraduate students are also eligible but must be accompanied by a faculty member who will serve as the PI. The program provides $750 per week for subsistence expenses while visiting an industrial facility, research center, or national laboratory, with a maximum total of $6,000. Monetary resources dedicated to assisting communities across the state develop and train entrepreneurs and small business owners in three broad and diverse categories. Combines Previous Microenterprise and Main Street Entrepreneur Grants into one program. Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development encourages entrepreneurship development and adaptive reuse of commercial buildings in accredited Tennessee Main Street communities with a Main Street Entrepreneur Incubator grant program to assist in funding activities that put vacant and/or underutilized buildings into productive service and serve as economic drivers for downtowns. Matching funds are not required but the scoring system rewards projects that include other partners or agencies or additional funding commitments.

The Hardest Hit Fund Blight Elimination Program (BEP) assists with the removal of blighted properties in targeted areas within the state of Tennessee. Removing these properties will help to reduce foreclosures, promote neighborhood stabilization, and maintain property values. BEP is designed as a targeted, first come first served program to lend recaptured HHF funds for the demolition and/or acquisition and demolition of blighted one to four unit residential structures in targeted areas to assist in neighborhood stabilization and in preventing foreclosure by helping to stem decline in home values. To be eligible, entities must submit applications that meet BEP requirements and THDA's goals for blight elimination.

This grant provides funding to local governments in Tennessee for community-based projects that improve transportation options and enhance the cultural, historic, and environmental aspects of transportation infrastructure.

ThreeStar promotes economic and community prosperity through collaboration to positively impact every Tennessean. ThreeStar includes a certification process and grant program. Grants are available to support completion of identified ThreeStar SMART goals submitted through the certification process. ThreeStar is a strategic community development program developed to assist communities in preparing for a better future. The ThreeStar program now incorporates asset-based planning initiatives and a two-year timeline to accomplish goals. The asset-based planning component helps communities develop goals to maximize their local assets to drive economic development. Starting in 2019, biennial grants will be available to counties to align with one of the community’s identified goals.

Application Process: The application consists of a written application and an interview. Successful applicants will demonstrate experience in artistic disciplines, knowledge of arts instruction and commitment to professional learning, as well as understanding of their intended audience's learning needs and styles. Artists already listed on the Rhode Island Teaching Artist Roster can renew their listings annually by completing a background check and updating their profile on CreativeGround. Additional Information: Grants are decided through a rigorous panel process involving peers and cultural leaders from across the country. Panelists evaluate applications based on need, relevance to the community, diversity, equity, access, and inclusion. Funding recommendations are made by panelists after reviewing applications. Partial funding is common, so it is recommended to ask for the needed amount along with an accurate budget. Changes or updates to funded projects should be communicated to RISCA staff via email. Grant notifications are sent out via mail. The grant review process takes approximately six to twelve weeks. RISCA staff can provide support beyond grants and offer learning programs, events, and convenings to connect people in the arts and culture ecosystem in Rhode Island.

Grants are provided to offset the installed cost of photovoltaic, solar water heating, wind, and geothermal renewable energy technologies. Each utility company has its own program regulations, requirements, and application forms. To apply for a grant, applicants must use the Green Grant Delaware online application system and submit a complete application with all required attachments. Applicants are also required to sign over their Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs) to the Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility. It is important to note that incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Before submitting a grant application, applicants must complete an energy audit and select an approved renewable energy contractor. After installation and operation of the renewable energy system, applicants must submit grant completion documentation for final approval. Grant Opportunity: Energize Delaware Residential Solar Loan Program Description: The Energize Delaware Residential Solar Loan program offers low-interest loans to encourage the purchase of customer-owned renewable generation. The program aims to achieve utility bill savings, reduce environmental impact, and promote local job growth in the solar installation industry. Eligibility Criteria: - Must be a Delaware resident - Must be a homeowner of a single-family home or duplex - Minimum credit score of 650 - Maximum monthly debt-to-income ratio of 40% - Total loan cannot exceed 70% of the total project cost Loan Details: - Total loan amount: $5,000 - $30,000 - Interest rate: 3.9% - Loan term: Up to 10 years Additional Requirements: - Any storage capacity must be priced such that the total system cost does not exceed $6.00/installed watt of generation. - The system must meet specific Green Energy Grant Delaware requirements regarding grid connection, array orientation and tilt, and daily sunshine hours. After Part I is submitted, applicants will receive an eligibility letter via email. 4. Approved applicants can begin their solar project within three months of acceptance. 5. Once installation is complete, applicants must complete Part II within six months. 6. After Part II documents are reviewed, funds will be dispersed directly to the installer. Payment and Repayment: - Participating installers pay an initiation fee of $100 and must provide state licensing information. - Homeowners will begin loan repayment the month following fund disbursement. - Monthly payments cannot be adjusted. - There is no penalty for prepayment.
