The National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), with other NIH Institutes and Centers (ICs) intends to promote a new initiative by publishing a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to solicit applications from National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Cancer Centers with existing community outreach and collaborations with American Indian and Alaska Native populations for research on improving cancer outcomes. Proposals must deliver at least 40 hours of professional development and may include postsecondary credit options for participants.
