Federal Funding Floor and Ceiling Amounts The estimated funding floor for this opportunity is $25,000, and the estimated funding ceiling is $300,000. The funding floor means the minimum agreement funding amount for the Federal share per agreement awarded. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Foreign Agricultural Service, International Climate Hub, announces this funding opportunity to support the Technical Agricultural Assistance Program by issuing a new award to to design, plan, and implement the FAS Agricultural Export Market Challenge (Challenge) for the 2024-2025 academic year.Launched as a pilot program in 2021, the Challenge is an immersive learning experience targeted to upper-level undergraduates attending a minority-serving educational institution. The Challenge is designed to increase student awareness around the work of FAS, pique student interest in a career in international trade and within the agency, and provide a rich learning experience, while fostering FAS relationships with participating institutions. Keeping the future of agriculture bright in Georgia In 2023, AgGeorgia Farm Credit allocated $55,000 to support non-profit organizations with grants of up to $5,000 to help in their endeavors and to further the future of agriculture in our region of Georgia. Fund Mission & Objectives The Fund's mission is to build strong partnerships and alliances, leveraging the resources within the fund to preserve and promote the farmer, the family, and our rural communities. The fund has two main objectives: to invest in the future of agriculture and to enhance and impact the quality of life in rural Georgia. Applications The fund operates on an application-based grant system. Grants will be awarded for up to $5,000 per organization per year. The Blaine County Community Foundation Fund, established at the Montana Community Foundation (MCF) by Warren Ross in 1997, is offering grants to benefit communities and residents of Blaine County. The grant cycle runs from August 15 to November 15. The grants range in size from $500 to $2,000 and must be used for projects benefiting communities or residents in Blaine County.
