The Clean Fleet Enterprise’s (CFE) Clean Fleet Vehicle and Technology grant program is a statewide competitive application process for fleet vehicles and other clean fleet technology. Program Requirements  Requested vehicles must be domiciled in and operated from a site in the state of Colorado with a large percentage of their travel within the state. Requested vehicles should be owned and operated by the fleet or individual fleet owner applying for funding. In cases where a third-party, who will not operate the vehicles directly, applies for funding, information on ownership of the vehicles must be included with the application materials for consideration. Applicants must operate awarded vehicles per the terms and conditions provided by the state. Applicants are required to provide proof they are currently registered and in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State. Business entities outside of Colorado must review and, where applicable, file a Statement of Foreign Entity Authority (SOFEA) with the Colorado Secretary of State before submitting their application. Requested vehicles must be insured and authorized for use in the state of Colorado. Requested new vehicles must be procured in their original manufactured condition from a retail business or dealership, with no previous ownership. Used and/or demonstration vehicles are not eligible for funding through the Clean Fleet Enterprise. These projects also support the mental health and substance misuse needs of those providing the supports so that they can be at their best as they support others. Care Over Time: Improve care transitions, making them easier and more seamless for people. The goal is to increase stability and minimize the starts and stops in mental health and substance misuse care. These projects are particularly important during transition times, including leaving the criminal legal system back into community. Funding Information The total amount available for all grant awards in this funding area is $14.4 million which includes a minimum of $4.8 million to City and County of Denver agencies. Applicants should consider the total amount available to organizations and agencies in the amount they request. Caring for Denver will evaluate grant budgets for their reasonableness and consider whether an organization has previously received a grant in allocation decisions. Eligibility Criteria Projects and activities supported by Caring for Denver’s grantmaking must serve or support only residents of the City and County of Denver (“City”). Caring for Denver’s general definition of residency is derived from the State of Colorado Medical Services Board Rule 8.607.1(F) around Areas of Service. The following individuals will be considered City residents by Caring for Denver: An individual physically residing full time in the City An individual experiencing homelessness presenting in the City and intending to stay in the City An individual, under 21 years of age and in the custody of Denver Human Services (“DHS”) An individual, under 18 years of age and in primary legal and residency custody of a City resident A non-City resident who is placed in a mental health and/or substance abuse program while in a City Jail. Applicants can be any nonprofit organization designated by the IRS as tax-exempt under IRC Section 501(c)(3), or under other sections of the U.S. tax code or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity. If an organization does not have a 501(c)(3), has a pending 501(c)(3), is not in good standing, and/or does not have at least one year of tax returns and financial statements, it will be required to work with a fiscal sponsor. City of Centennial is accepting applications for the Broncos Youth Activity Grant Program, offering $900,000 in grant funding to support youth activity programs due to the sale of the Broncos Football Team. Organizations may apply for a maximum of $200,000 for capital projects and $100,000 for other initiatives. Projects must be completed within one year and applicants must demonstrate how the project benefits Centennial youth. Colorado's Film Education Grant Program offers schools the opportunity to produce an original documentary over the course of one semester. Students gain hands-on experience in filmmaking, television production, or game design, and also receive a working credit to enhance their potential for future industry jobs. The Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media collaborates with PBS12 and Rocky Mountain PBS to showcase the students' final projects on air.
