St. Davidās Foundation expects to awarding up to $8M through two types of grants: Individual organizations will be eligible for one-time grants of up to $250,000. Funding collaboratives across organizations that are already working together to address this issue will be eligible for one-time grants of up to $1,000,000. Eligibility Requirements Operate in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, or Williamson counties. Fall into one of the following classifications: A tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Using a fiscal sponsor who is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Statewide and national organizations not headquartered in Central Texas must be able to demonstrate meaningful partnerships with local organizations and communities to have an impact in the five-county region and communities. The work must clearly benefit Central Texas residents. Evidence of work enrolling eligible Central Texans in healthcare coverage or otherwise supporting individuals, the community, or organizations in the eligibility determination and enrollment process.
